Abstract

Liquefaction is a phenomenon of soil strength loss due to increased pore pressure and decreased effective pressure of the soil layer due to dynamic cyclic load. Puger subdistrict coastal area is an area that has a broad coastal alluvial plains and prone to occur because the earthquake is located on the path tectonic so prone to liquefaction occurs. The microtremor analysis using the HVSR method was conducted in the coastal area of Puger subdistrict to map potential liquefaction in the coastal area. From the measurements of mikrotremor that has been done, obtained the result of the distribution of natural frequency value 0.3 - 1.4 Hz, wave amplification factor value in the research area has a value ranging from 2.6 to 9.1, the thickness of the sediment layer at the study site obtained results ranging from 36-169 meters. The seismic vulnerability index (Kg) in this study ranged from 14.4 to 120. The high vulnerability index was located along the southern coastal areas of Puger subdistrict.
