Abstract

======================================================================================================================== v MEASUREMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM SUCCESS BASED ON D&M MODEL AND COBIT 5 (CASE STUDY: AIRLANGGA UNIVERSITY) By : Fitri Retrialisca S tudent Number : 5215201004 Supervisior : Dr. Apol Pribadi Subriadi, S.T., M.T ABSTRACT A good information system will support the daily operational processes to solve the problem more quickly and easily in an organization, not least Airlangga University . Information systems implemented at Airlangga University need to be measured against the success of the implementation of information systems . Many models can be used to measure the success of information systems . In this study developed a model to measur e the success of two dimensional information systems DeLone and McLean model (D & M) IS successful Model and framework of Control Objective for Information and Related Technology 5 (COBIT 5) . D&M IS Success Model is used to measure the success of an inform ation system (frontend) by adopting the method of measurement capability level, while COBIT 5 is used to measure cabilility level in the application of information technology governance (backend), as COBIT 5 provides best practices for governance and contr ol technology information . This study used a qualitative approach based on a single case study . Methods of data collection is done by interview, observation, and longitudinal observation. Based on the observation of longitudinal data on the application of standardization, DSI Airlangga University since 2009 up to now apply the standardization of ISO 9001 quality policy, the implementation of ISO 27001 standardization related to data security, as well as the application of standardization in accordance with quality policy of Airlangga University which is always audited by Internal Supervisory Agency Airlangga University . The result of this research found that the measurement of success of frontend perspective information system on the current condition (a s - is) is at level 3 established process, while the level of the expected condition (to - be) is at level 5 optimizing process. The measurement of the success of the backend perspective information system on the current (as - is) level is at level 3 established process, while the level of the expected condition (to - be) is at level 5 optimizing process. In this study also obtained a more comprehensive information system success measurement model in DSI Airlangga University by using two perspectives that is fronte nd and backend perspective, and the calculation of maturity level of information system success is adopted from Assessment Process Assessment Model (PAM) COBIT 5 by using standard assessment scale Set by ISO / IEC 15504 standards.
