Abstract
Stasiun Gubeng merupakan stasiun yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat
Surabaya, karena stasiun ini lokasinya cukup strategis yaitu di kawasan ekonomi dan
bisnis Surabaya. Namun kehadiran dan aktivitas stasiun ini memberi dampak buruk
bagi sistem transportasi jalan raya di sekitarnya khususnya di depan Stasiun Gubeng
Lama. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah kemacetan pada jalan raya akibat perilaku
masyarakat yang beraktifitas di stasiun tersebut. Perilaku yang kurang baik itu
contohnya adalah kendaraan umum yang berhenti sembarangan dan parkir liar.
Perilaku ini bisa terjadi karena tatanan bangunan stasiun memungkinkan untuk
masyarakat melakukan perilaku yang menyimpang. Oleh karena itu perlu penataan
bangunan stasiun dan penataan sistem sirkulasi pada aktivitas di dalamnya. Metode
yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini adalah teori dari Don Korberg yang
mengutamakan analisa dan sintesa yang dalam konteks permasalahan ini adalah
menganalisa perilaku masyarakat yang beraktivitas di setasiun tersebut. Tujuan dari
redesain ini adalah untuk mengurangi kemacetan jalan raya di depan stasiun dan
memberikan fasilitas yang maksimal bagi pengguna jasa kereta api.

Gubeng station is a station that is very important for the people of Surabaya,
because the station is a strategic location that is in the area of economics and business
in Surabaya. But the presence and activity of this station gives bad impact on the road
transport system in the vicinity, especially in front of the Old Gubeng Station. The
problem that arises is congestion on the highway due to the behavior of people who
indulge in the station. Unfavorable behavior that example is the public transport stop
indiscriminate and illegal parking. This behavior can occur because the arrangement
allows the station building to the public perform deviant behavior. Therefore it is
necessary arrangement of the station building and the arrangement of the circulatory
system in the activities in it. The method used in solving this problem is the theory of
Don Korberg that prioritizes analysis and synthesis in the context of this issue is to
analyze the behavior of the people who move in the station. The goal of this redesign
is to reduce highway congestion in front of the station and provide maximum facilities
for users of railway services.
