Abstract
Kesejahteraan masyarakat dapat diupayakan dengan suatu proses pembangunan yang terus menerus. Salah satu indikator keberhasilan pelaksanaan pembangunan yang dapat dijadikan tolok ukur secara makro yaitu pertumbuhan ekonomi yang dicerminkan dari Produk Domestik Bruto. Koperasi dan UMKM di Jawa Timur sebagai penggerak Ekonomi Kerakyatan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan pada PDRB yaitu sebesar 54,98%. Koperasi di Jawa Timur memiliki populasi Koperasi terbesar di Indonesia bahkan Jawa Timur meraih penggerak Koperasi terbaik Nasional. Namun dibalik potensi itu masih terdapat kendala dan masalah yang dihadapi, antara lain masih terdapat koperasi yang ditutup karena tidak aktif, pemanfaatan SDM di lingkungan oleh koperasi belum optimal, dan jaringan koperasi yang berjalan tersegmentasi belum mencapai skala usaha optimal dan rapuh kelangsungannya. Oleh karena itu, kajian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh koperasi terhadap PDRB berdasarkan kabupaten dan kota di Jawa Timur selama 5 tahun yaitu dari tahun 2011-2015 menggunakan regresi data panel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model yang dipilih adalah FEM antar individu dengan variabilitas sebesar 99% serta diketahui bahwa jumlah koperasi, jumlah anggota, volume usaha dan SHU berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PDRB, selain itu PDRB juga dipengaruhi oleh wilayah kabupaten/kota di Jawa Timur. Hal tersebut menunjukkan koperasi sebagai ekonomi kerakyatan berpengaruh terhadap PDRB.

The prosperity of the community can be pursued by a process of continuous development. One indicator of successful implementation of development that can be used as a benchmark macro is the economic growth that is reflected from the Gross Domestic Product. Cooperatives and UMKM in East Java as populist economic activator contributed significantly to the GRDP of 54.98%. Cooperative in East Java has the largest cooperative population in Indonesia and achieved the best National Cooperative activator. But behind all of that, there are constraints and problems, there are still cooperatives that are closed due to inactivity, the use of human resources in the environment by the cooperative has not been optimal, and cooperative network that runs segmented has not reached the scale of optimum business and fragile continuity. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of cooperatives on GRDP by district and city from 2011 to 2015 using panel data regression. he result of analysis shows that the selected model is FEM individual effect with 99% variability and the number of cooperatives, number of members, business volume, SHU and regency in East Java have significant effect to GRDP. It shows the cooperative as a economic democracy affecting the GRDP.
