Abstract

Sistem pengaman dalam suatu industri adalah hal yang penting dan perlu diperhatikan. Karena, saat terjadi gangguan akan mempengarui kontinuitas supply daya listrik. Permasalahan dalam kontinuitas daya dapat menghambat suatu produksi dalam pabrik yang akhirnya menyebabkan kerugian dan menurunkan kualitas produksi industri tersebut. Untuk menyempurnakan koordinasi proteksi diperlukan setting proteksi dengan memperhitungkan arc-flash. Karena besarnya energy arc-flash dapat membahayakan para pekerja didalam pabrik dan merusak peralatan disekitarnya. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan studi koordinasi proteksi pada PT. Petro Oxo Nusantara Gresik. Yang pertama dilakukan adalah mencari arus hubung singkat maksimun, arus hubung singkat minimum, arus pickup, dan time dial dengan menggunakan standart IEEE 242. Setelah menyelesaikan koordinasi proteksi didapatkan data FCT (Fautl Clearing Time), Ibf , gap conductor, X factor, dan juga Working distance untuk menghitung arus arc-flash . Besarnya arus busur api akan digunakan untuk menghitung level energi arc-flash pada setiap bus sesuai standar IEEE 1584 - 2002. Dari hasil analisa studi koordinasi proteksi pada sistem eksiting dan resetting terdapat penurunan besarnya insiden energy pada bus 6,7,8,16,dan 19. Hal ini disebabkan karena FCT (Fautl Clearing Time) pada sistem eksisting menjadi lebih kecil setelah dikoordinasi dengan benar. Untuk bus 3 dan 20 insiden energy bertambah besar karena nilai FCT saat eksisting sebesar 0,24, dan 0,137 sekon setelah di resetting menjadi 0,37 dan 0,35 sekon. ================================================================= The protection system in an industry are important and need to concern. Because, when there is a fault it will affect the continuity of power supply. Problems in the continuity of power will inhibit a production in the factory that eventually leads to losses and degrade the quality of industrial production. To improve the coordination of protection required protection settings by taking into account arc-flash. Due to the magnitude of the dangers of arc-flash can harm workers in the factory and damage the urrounding equipment. In this final project, the study coordination of protection will be doing on PT. Petro Oxo Nusantara Gresik. The first thing to do is to find the maximum short circuit current, minimum short-circuit current,pickup current, and time dial using IEEE 242 standart. After completing the protection coordintion, will get the FCT (Fault Clearing Time), Ibf, gap conductor, X factor, and also working distance to calculate arc-flash current. The magnitude of arc-flash current will be used the arc-flash energy level of each bus according to IEEE 1584-2002 standart. From the analysis of coordination studies of protection on the system exixting and resetting there is a decrease in the magnitude of energy incident on buses 6,7,8,16, and 19. This is because FCT (Fault Clearing Time) on the existing system becomes smaller after being properly coordinated. For buses 3 and 20 incident energy increases due to the existing FCT value of 0,24 and 0,317 seconds after resetting it become 0,24 and 0,317 seconds.
