Abstract

Pada dunia industri, keberlangsungan proses produksi sangatlah penting. Proses penyaluran listrik harus tetap terjaga agar kontinuitas proses produksi tetap dapat berjalan. Sistem kelistrikan di PT. Pupuk Kujang saat ini disuplai dari satu pembangkit dengan kapasitas 18,35 MW dan Utility dari PLN, dengan total beban sebesar 12,8 MW. Sementara itu, PT. Pupuk Kujang berencana untuk melakukan penambahan beban baru sebesar 5 MW dan penambahan generator baru dengan kapasitas 11,8 MW. Dengan adanya rencana penambahan beban dan generator baru tersebut maka perlu dilakukan adanya studi analisis kestabilan transien dari sistem kelistrikan PT. Pupuk Kujang. Analisis kestabilan transien yang akan dilakukan meliputi generator outage, short circuit dan motor starting. Selain itu akan dilakukan juga mekanisme pelepasan beban yang handal saat terjadi gangguan kestabilan sistem untuk menjamin kemampuan sistem untuk kembali pulih akibat gangguan tersebut. Berdasarkan simulasi yang telah dilakukan, saat kasus generator outage atau utility off didapatkan bahwa saat adanya gangguan pada utility sistem mengalami fenomena ketidakstabilan, sehingga diperlukan mekanisme pelepasan beban. Pada saat kasus short circuit di tiga level tegangan yang berbeda sistem masih mampu kembali dalam kondisi stabilnya meskipun pada sisi tegangan mengalami fenomena dip voltage. Pada saat kasus penyelaan motor dengan kapasitas terbesar kondisi sistem masih dalam kondisi yang stabil baik dari frekuensi maupun tegangan.

In the industrial world, the sustainability of the production process is important matter. The process of electricity distribution must be maintained well so the sustainability of the production process do well. The electricity system at PT. Pupuk Kujang currently supplied by 18,35 MW gas-turbine-generator and utility from PT. PLN, with 12,8 MW total load demand. In the future, PT. Pupuk Kujang planned to take the addition of 5 MW new load and also addition of new generator with the capacity of 11,8 MW. By the plan of addition a new load and a new generator, PT. Pupuk Kujang needs to do transient stability analysis study for its new electrical system. Transient stability analysis that will be done are generator outage, short circuit, and motor starting. Besides, there is also reliable load shedding mechanism when there is a disturbance in the system in order to ensure the capability of a system for returning to steady condition after the disturbance. After we got the result from simulation, when the generator outage and utility off cases we got that the system become unstable when there is a disturbance in utility. On the short circuit cases in three different voltage level, system still in stable condition though there is a dip voltage at the system. On motor starting large capacity motor the system still on stable condition both from its frequency and its voltage.
