Abstract
Model Geoid Global Earth Gravitational Model 2008 (EGM 2008) merupakan model geoid yang memiliki informasi anomali gayaberat free-air dengan grid 2.5 menit. Grid tersebut dibentuk dari kombinasi data terestrial, turunan altimetri dan data gayaberat dari airborne. Akan tetapi, untuk wilayah Indonesia kontribusi nilai gayaberat dari pengukuran lokal untuk EGM 2008 masih sangat kurang sehingga model geoid yang didapat dari EGM 2008 kurang merepresentasikan kondisi fisik secara lokal. Tujuan penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian penggunaan EGM 2008 untuk keperluan lokal di Kota Surabaya. Dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan pengambilan data insitu di Kota Surabaya, kemudian diolah menjadi data anomali gayaberat free air. Data anomali free air dari EGM dan pengukuran di plotting menggunakan aplikasi Generic Mapping Tools (GMT), sehingga keduanya dapat dibandingkan dan dianalisis. Berdasarkan pengolahan dan analisis data pengukuran didapatkan bahwa nilai gayaberat di Kota Surabaya berkisar antara 978093.737 mGal hingga 978115.846 mGal, dengan anomali gayaberat free air berkisar antara -25 mGal hingga 20 mGal. Selisih data EGM dan data insitu mempunyai nilai antara 0-21 mGal. Berdasarkan pengolahan data dan analisis selisih anomali free air data insitu dan data EGM 2008 maka EGM 2008 cukup sesuai dengan rata-rata selisih 5.726 mGal sehingga presentase kesesuaiannya sebesar 66.67%. Setelah dilakukan gridding yang sama antara EGM 2008 dan data insitu didapatkan nilai rata-rata selisih 10.350 mGal dan presentase data yang sesuai adalah 64.10%.

Global Geoid Model EGM (Earth Gravitational Model) 2008 is a geoid model with free-air gravity anomaly in 2.5-minute grid. The grid is formed from a combination of terrestrial data, altimetry satelite and airborne gravity. However, the contribution of local gravity measurement in Indonesia is low so EGM 2008 can not represent the local physical condition. The purpose of this research is to find out conformity level of EGM 2008 for local purpose in Surabaya. In this research local measurement was done to get the insitu data in Surabaya, then processed into free air anomaly gravity. Then the free air anomaly gravity from local measurement and EGM 2008 is plotted by Generic Mapping Tool (GMT), so they could be compared and analyzed. Based on the data processing and analysis of local measurement the gravity value in Surabaya is 978093.737 mGal up to 978115.846 mGal, with free air gravity anomaly -25 mGal to 20 mGal. The difference of EGM and insitu data is 0-21 mGal. So the conformity of EGM 2008 is good enough with the value of mean difference is 5.726 and precentage of the conformity data for all point measurement is 66.67%. Then, in the same of gridding processing both of data have mean difference 10.350 and the precentage of the suitable gravity data is 64.10%.
