Abstract
Ekstrak bahan alam saat ini sedang dikembangkan sebagai inhibitor organik. Inhibitor organik dapat digunakan untuk menurunkan laju korosi pada material baja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa efektivitas metode ekstraksi soxhletasi dan kualitas inhibitor ekstrak umbi sarang semut dengan variasi perbandingan komposisi bahan-pelarut dan membandingkan kandungan senyawa flavonoid secara kualitatif dan kualitatif pada ekstrak inhibitor umbi sarang semut hasil ekstraksi soxhletasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekstraksi soxhletasi, simplisia serbuk umbi sarang semut sebagai bahan organik, dan campuran aseton-akuades sebagai pelarut. Variasi perbandingan komposisi bahan-pelarut yang digunakan adalah 1:10, 1:15, dan 1:20. Pengujian dalam penelitian ini meliputi Parameter Ekstrak, FTIR, KLT dan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil rendemen tertinggi ditunjukkan pada perbandingan 1:10 sebesar 13,943%, kadar abu total dan kadar air ekstrak terendah ditunjukkan pada perbandingan 1:10 masing-masing sebesar 4,26% dan 4,2483%. Hasil pengujian FTIR mengindikasikan gugus fungsi dari senyawa flavonoid dan pengujian KLT menunjukkan hasil positif adanya senyawa flavonoid ditandai dengan perubahan warna menjadi hitam. Persentase senyawa flavonoid tertinggi sebesar 0,22025% pada perbandingan 1:10.

Extracts of natural ingredients are currently being developed as organic inhibitors. Organic inhibitors can be used to decrease corrosion rate in steel materials. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of soxhletation extraction method and the quality of umbi sarang semut extract inhibitor with variation of solvent-material composition ratio and to compare the content of flavonoid compounds qualitatively and qualitatively on ant nest inhibitor extract from soxhletation extraction results. This research uses soxhletation extraction method, simplicia powder of umbi sarang semut as organic material, and mixed acetone-aquades as a solvent. The variations in the composition of the solvent-material used are 1:10, 1:15, and 1:20. Tests in this study include Extract Parameters, FTIR, TLC and UV-Vis Spectrophotometry. The highest yield was shown in the 1:10 ratio of 13.943%, the total ash content and the lowest extract water content were shown in the 1:10 ratio of 4.26% and 4.2483%, respectively. FTIR test results indicate functional groups of flavonoid compounds and TLC test showed positive results of flavonoid compounds characterized by changes in color to black. The highest percentage of flavonoid compound was 0.22025% at 1:10 ratio.
