Abstract

Wilayah Kampus dan Perumahan Institut Teknologi Sepuluh nopember (ITS) seringkali mengalami genangan saat hujan lebat. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan kemiringan lahan pada Kampus dan Perumahan ITS relatif datar. Selain itu, beberapa alasan lainnya adalah karena beberapa saluran mengandung sedimen sehingga menyebabkan kapasitas pada saluran tidak optimum. Sehingga dibutuhkan evaluasi sistem drainase pada wilayah Kampus dan Perumahan ITS. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan untuk melakukan evaluasi sistem drainase adalah (i) mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer mencakup arah aliran air pada saluran, kemiringan saluran, dimensi saluran, ketebalan sedimen pada saluran. Data sekunder yang dibutuhkan merupakan data curah hujan, Master Plan ITS, dan tata guna lahan, (ii) mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada, (iii) melakukan studi literatur, (iv) menghitung kapasitas saluran eksisting, (v) menghitung debit limpasan, (vi) menganalisis kondisi eksisting retention pond. Perhitungan mencakup perencaan teknis, Bill of Quantity (BOQ) dan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB). Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) perawatan saluran juga disajikan. Dari hasil analisis, menunjukkan Hujan Harian Maksimum yang didapat adalah sebesar 136,09 mm/hari untuk PUH 5 tahun dan 159,19 mm/hari untuk PUH 10 tahun. Penyebab terjadinya genangan air pada wilayah kampus dan perumahan ITS adalah dikarenakan ada beberapa saluran yang tidak saling terhubung. Sehingga, air pada saluran drainase tidak dapat mengalir dengan mudah ke badan air (sungai). Penyebab lain dari genangan adalah kemiringan saluran pada beberapa saluran tidak terbuat dengan baik. Genangan pada beberapa jalan dikarenakan tidak adanya street inlet sehingga menyebabkan air tidak bisa mengalir ke saluran drainase. Dapat disimpulkan (i) dibutuhkan penambahan saluran sekunder dan gorong-gorong di beberapa wilayah (ii) kemiringan saluran perlu diatur kembali, (iii) butuh penambahan 288 street inlet pada wilayah yang direncanakan. ================================================================= The area of campus of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) and its housing complex are usually inundated when heavy rain happens. It is because the slope of land in the campus generally flat. Moreover, it is because some of drainage channels contain sediment that makes the capacity of the channels is not optimum. An evaluation of the drainage system of ITS needs to be conducted. The steps of doing this evaluation are (i) identify the existing problems, (ii) literature review, (iii) calculation of capacity of the existing channels, (iv) calculation of runoff, (v) analysis of existing retention ponds, and (vi) collection of primary and secondary data. The primary data includes flow direction, slope of cahnnels, dimension of channels, and thickness of sediment in the channels. The secondary data comprises of rainfall height, Master Plan of ITS, landuse. The calculation includes engineering design, Bill of Quantity (BOQ), and budget. A Standard Operation Procedure for maintenance of drainage system to make the channels optimum is also sugested. From the analysis, it is shown that the maximum daily rainfall are 136,09 mm/day for 5 years rainfall return period and 159,19 mm/day for 10 years rainfall return period. Cause of inudation in ITS is there are some channels which are not connected each others. As a result, the drainage water cannot flow easily to the end water body (river). Another cause of inundation is the slope of some channels does not properly made. The inundation in some roads is because there is no street inlets such that the water could not flow to the side channels. It can be concluded that (i) it needs some addition of secondary channels and box culvert in some areas, (ii) the slope of some channels need to be rearranged, (iii) 288 street inlets must be constructed along the planning area.
