Abstract
Sebuah kapal dirancang terdiri atas beberapa bagian yang berupa sambungan dimana sambungan-sambungan tersebut akan dilakukan pemeriksaan. Hasil dari proses pengelasan pada sambungan sering kali tidak sesuai atau belum memenuhi kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Hal ini dapat diketahui denganp emeriksaan yang dilakukan oleh divisi Quality Control (QC) yang selanjutnya dilakukan rekap data hingga diketahui jenis ketidaksesuaian yang muncul pada proses pengelasan. Dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui kapabilitas proses dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan ketidaksesuaian pada proses pengelasan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari hasil pemeriksaan proses pengelasan pada Kapal Tonasa Lines N012612. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pengelasan pada bagian bottom shell dan side shell, tank top tidak terkendali secara statistik karena ada salah satu titik berada diluar batas kendali, hal ini disebabkan adanya ketidaksesuaian pengelasan jenis porosity dan slag line sedangkan pada bagian main deck telah terkendali secara statistik. Serta, hasil pengelasan menunjukkan tidak kapabel karena pada bagian bottom shell dan side shell nilai 〖p ̂^%〗_pk (0.31)<1, bagian main deck nilai 〖p ̂^%〗_pk (-0.046)<1, bagian tank top nilai 〖p ̂^%〗_pk (0.173)<1.

A designed ship consists of several parts in the form of a connection where the connections will be examined. The results of the welding process on the connection are often not appropriate or have not met the criteria that have been determined. This can be known by checks made by the Quality Control division (QC) which then performed a recap of data until it is known the type of mismatch that appears in the welding process. Further analysis is done to determine the process capability and the factors that cause mismatch in the welding process. The data used is secondary data obtained from the examination of the welding process on the Ship Tonasa Lines N012612.The result of analysis can be concluded that the pengelasan result on bottom shell and side shell, tank top is not statistically controlled because there is one point is outside the control limit, this is due to the mismatch of pengelasan type porosity and slag line while in main Decks have been statistically controlled. Also, the welding results show no capability because at the bottom of the shell and the shell side part values 〖p ̂^%〗_pk (0.31)<1, the main deck part values 〖p ̂^%〗_pk (-0.046)<1 , the tank top part values 〖p ̂^%〗_pk (0.173)<1.
