Abstract
Lindi yang dihasilkan akibat dari proses dekomposisi sampah dapat mencemari air permukaan dan air tanah. Pemanfaatan constructed wetland dengan tumbuhan air merupakan salah satu alternatif pengolahan lindi sebagai pengolahan lanjutan dari proses pengolahan primer, sekunder atau tersier. Tumbuhan air memegang peranan penting dalam proses perbaikan kualitas air limbah.
Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk menentukan keefektifan pengolahan lindi dengan constructed wetland yang difokuskan pada kemampuan tumbuhan air terhadap penurunan pencemar lindi dan constructed wetland yang dapat diaplikasikan di TPA. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari jurnal internasional dan Indonesia, prosiding, peraturan yang berlaku, tugas akhir, tesis, dan disertasi.
Hasil studi menunjukkan pengolahan lindi dengan tumbuhan air efektif pada tumbuhan dengan akar panjang dan serabut pada sistem SSF CWs. Tumbuhan dengan nilai TF dan BCF >1 menunjukkan tumbuhan bersifat hiperakumulator terhadap logam berat. Didapatkan 21 jenis tumbuhan air efektif terhadap pengolahan lindi dengan tingkat konsentrasi yang dapat diterima adalah nitrogen (112-610 mg/L), fosfor (30-75 mg/L), BOD5 (514-686 mg/L), COD (923,4-1279 mg/L), warna (1817-3360 Pt-Co), salinitas (3000-8000 mg/L).

Leachate that which is produced from solid waste decomposition can pollute surface water and groundwater. Application of constructed wetland with aquatic plant is one of the alternative to leachate treatment as advanced treatment for primary, secondary, or tertiary treatment. Aquatic plant hold important role in natural wastewater quality improvement.
The objective of the study to determine the effectiveness of leachate treatment with constructed wetland focusing on the ability of the aquatic plant to decrease the pollutant and constructed wetland method that can be applied in landfill. Data collection are obtained from scientific international journal and Indonesian journal, proceeding, existing rules and law, final project, thesis, and disertation.
The results shows that leachate treatment with aquatic plants is effective in plants with long and fibers roots. Plants with TF and BCF value >1 indicate that the plants hiperaccumulator to heavy metal removal. There are 21 species of aquatic plants which are effective to remove various concentration of pollutant, such as nitrogen (112-610 mg/L), phosphorus (30-75 mg/L), BOD5 (514-686 mg/L), COD (923,4-1279 mg/L), color (1817-3360 Pt-Co), and salinity (3000-8000 mg/L).
