Abstract

Sistem smart parking yang diterapkan di Surabaya memerlukan sistem pemantauan ruang parkir secara real-time. Sistem pemantauan ini menggunakan Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) untuk mendapatkan data mengenai ruang parkir kosong yang tersedia. Penggunaan metode data aggregation yang berguna untuk mengumpulkan data dari sensor merupakan hal yang vital dalam menghasilkan sistem real-time. Banyak jenis algoritma data aggregation yang telah ada, namun memiliki waktu delay yang lama dan packet drop yang besar. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, algoritma Delay Efficient Distributed Data Aggregation (DEDA) dikembangkan. Metode ini menggabungkan teknik Distribution Aggregation Tree Contruction dan Data Aggregation Scheduling sehingga dapat menyalurkan data dari WSN secara real-time. Dengan membandingkan waktu delay, jumlah packet drop dan jumlah packet loss antara DEDA dan algoritma sebelumnya, dapat membuktikan bahwa DEDA merupakan algoritma yang tepat untuk mengoptimalkan jaringan data pada sistem smart parking. Setelah dilakukan simulasi didapatkan hasil bahwa waktu delay pada jaringan dengan algoritma DDA lebih rendah daripada jaringan dengan algoritma DEDA dimana delay-nya naik seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah node. Packet drop dan packet loss pada algoritma DEDA jumlahnya konstan mendekati 0 namun pada jaringan dengan algoritma DDA jumlahnya terus naik mengikuti bertambahnya jumlah node. ========================================================================================= Smart parking system which is implemented in Surabaya, requires a system to monitor parking spot in real-time. This monitoring system uses Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) to gather data about empty spots available. The use of data aggregation algorithm, which is aimed to gather data from sensor, is substantial to create a real-time system. There are many kinds of data aggregation algorithm however have long delay time and large number of packet drop. Delay Efficient Distributed Data Aggregation (DEDA) algorithm was developed to overcome these problems. This algorithm combines Distribution Aggregation Tree and Data Aggregation Scheduling techniques so it can transmit data from WSN in real-time. By comparing delay time, the number of packet drop, and packet loss between DEDA and previous algorithms is to prove that DEDA is the appropriate algorithm for optimizing data network on smart parking system. After simulation, the result shows that delay time on a network using DDA algorithm is lower than network using DEDA algorithm where the delay continues to rise as the number of node. Packet drop and packet loss on a network using DEDA algorithm are constant in number which nearly 0 but on a network using DDA algorithm the number continues to rise as the number of node.
