Abstract

Kecamatan Ngebel ditetapkan sebagai kawasan perlindungan pariwisata dalam bentuk kawasan agrowisata. Hal tersebut didukung oleh potensi baik dari sisi keindahan alam, potensi pertanian hortikultura buah-buahan yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah Kecamatan Ngebel, maupun karakteristik masyarakat lokal. Namun adanya potensi pertanian hortikultura buah-buahan tersebut belum dimanfaatkan dengan optimal sebagai daya tarik wisata. Hal tersebut terlihat dari belum adanya obyek agrowisata di Kecamatan Ngebel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan arahan pengembangan agrowisata di Kecamatan Ngebel, Ponorogo berdasarkan komoditas unggulan tanaman hortikultura buah-buahan yang dimiliki. Pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 4 tahapan, yaitu identifikasi komoditas unggulan tanaman hortikultura buah-buahan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif yang membandingkan teori dengan data-data sekunder, analisis variabel pemilahan lokasi pengembangan agrowisata menggunakan teknik analisis Delphi yang dilakukan melalui wawancara, analisis lokasi agrowisata berdasarkan komoditas unggulan hortikultura buah-buahan serta variabel pemilihan lokasi pengembangan agrowisata menggunakan skoring dan menentukan arahan pengembangan agrowisata menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan membandingkan teori/best practice dan data karakteristik wilayah studi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa yang menjadi komoditas unggulan di Kecamatan Ngebel adalah durian, manggis, dan alpokat. Selain itu, dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa Desa Ngebel merupakan desa yang berpotensi tinggi sebagai lokasi pengembangan agrowisata di Kecamatan Ngebel. Arahan pengembangan agrowisata yang dihasilkan, antara lain berfokus pada upaya pelestarian kondisi alam dan lingkungan, atraksi alam dan budaya, pelestarian kawasan sekitar sumber air; peningkatan penyediaan dan pelayanan fasilitas wisata, infrastruktur, dan kemudahan aksesibilitas; pengembangan poroduk olahan hasil pertanian hortikultura dan penyediaan industri pertanian; serta pemberdayaan masyarakat terkait pengolahan hasil pertanian hortikultura dan kepariwisataan. ============================================================================================ Ngebel sub - district is appointed to become a protected area of tourism in the form of agro - tourism. The development of this sector is supported by nature beauty potential, wide spread fruits horticuture around Ngebel Sub - district, and local resident’s char acteristic. However, the fruits horticultural potential is not opimized as a tourist attraction yet. This can be seen from the unavailable agro - tourism object at Ngebel Sub - district. This study aims to determine the agro - tourism development refferals at Ng ebel Sub - district of Ponorogo City which based on its leading commodity of fruits horticulture. This study divided to 4 stages, they are the identification of the leading commodity of fruits horticulture using descriptive analysis technique which comparing the theory and secondary data, then the variable analysis to select the location of the agro - to urism development using Delphi analysis technique through interview, and the agro - tourism location analysis based on leading commodity of fruits horticulture and variable selection of location of the agro - tourism development using scoring, and the last is the determination of the agro - tourism development referrals using descriptive analysis technique by comparing the theory/best practice and studied region’s characteristic data. Based on the analysis result, it can be concluded that the leading commodities are durian, mangosteen, and avocado. Also, from this study, it is known that Ngebel Village is a village with the highest potential to become the location for developing agro - tourism at Ngebel Sub - district. The determined agro - tourism development referrals are focusing into the effort of conserve the natural and environmental conditions, nature and culture attraction, environment around water sources, and improving the tourism facility provisions and services, infrastructure, and accessibility, also improvi ng the horticulture commodities’ processed product and the agricultural industry, last, empowering the residents in cultivation process of the horticulture commodities and tourism sector .
