Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan judul rancang bangun sistem sensor pada otomasi greenhouse urban farming. Penelitian dilakukan untuk membuat rancang bangun sistem sensor pada sebuah greenhouse dan menentukan algoritma otomasi greenhouse. Penelitian dilakukan pada sebuah greenhouse berukuran 16×6m yang berlokasi di Urban Farming Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. Alat yang digunakan berupa 4 modul mikrokontroler dan 12 modul sensor yang dihubungkan menggunakan kabel LAN. Dari hasil karakterisasi sensor, setiap sensor memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda berdasarkan dari variabel yang diakuisisi sensor tersebut. Pada proses akuisisi data yang dikirimkan pada mikrokontroler berjalan dengan baik menggunakan kabel LAN, walaupun lokasi antara mikrokontroler dengan modul sensor berjauhan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh desain sensor yang digunakan dapat menunjukkan waktu dimana otomasi sangat dibutuhkan. ============================================================This study was conducted to design of sensor system on an urban farming green house. It was done in order to design a sensor for greenhouse and determine the algorithm for greenhouse automation. The dimensions of greenhouse used in this study is 16×6m located at the Urban Farming site of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. The tools are 4 microcontroller modules and 12 sensor modules connected using LAN cable. Based on the sensor characterization output, each sensor has different capabilities depending on the variable received by the sensor. During this receiving process, eventhough the microcontroller and sensor module are far from each other, data sent to microcontroller ran smoothly through LAN cable. According to the acquired data, sensor design used in this study is able to indicate the times at which automation may be required.
