Abstract
Daerah irigasi (DI) Siman memiliki areal seluas 23,562 Ha, meliputi areal irigasi di Kabupaten Kediri seluas 5.524 ha dan Kabupaten Jombang seluas 18.038 ha. Luas baku sawah yang ada (existing) Daerah Irigasi Siman yang diairi dari Dam Damarwulan adalah 8.289 Ha. Intensitas tanam exsisting yang dicapai DI. Siman yang diairi dari Dam Damarwulan sebesar 268,72% dengan pola tanam padi / palawija / tebu – padi / palawija / tebu – palawija / tebu. Pada musim kemarau D.I Siman mengalami kurangnya air. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung kebutuhan air adalah metode klimatologi, faktor palawija relative (FPR), dan menggunakan aplikasi Cropwat 8.0. Dari perhitungan tesebut didapatkan intensitas tanam rencana sebesar 300% dengan pola tanam padi-padi-palawija. Perhitungan nilai Benefit Cost Rasio (BCR) exsisting didapatkan sebesar 0,66 dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp. 153.526.577.492,50. Sedangkan nilai Benefit Cost Rasio (BCR) rencana sebesar 1,13 dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp. 272.730.297.205,00. Dengan melaksanakan rencana operasi dan pemeliharaan tersebut secara baik dan benar diharapkan dapat mencukupi kebutuhan air untuk meningkatkan pola tanam dan meningkatkan hasil produksi pertanian pada daerah irigasi Siman, Jawa Timur.
