Abstract
Lifeboat merupakan sebuah transportasi penyelamat yang diatur dalam rules yang wajib dipenuhi pada setiap kapal berukuran diatas 300 Gross Tonnage (GT). Fungsi utama dari lifeboat ini adalah untuk melaksanakan evakuasi kru atau penumpang kapal yang kecelakaan dan untuk menyelamatkan nyawa manusia agar dapat bertahan di laut. Germanischer Lloyd, Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia, dan stationary rules lainnya mengatur lifeboat harus memiliki endurance atau daya hidup selama 24 jam. Artinya jika sebuah lifeboat tidak berhasil ditemukan selama 24 jam, maka korban akan terombang-ambing. Maka, penelitian ini melakukan perencanaan ulang sistem supply daya dengan harapan dapat memenuhi daya yang dibutuhkan oleh lifeboat menggunakan energy harvester. Menggunakan lifeboat dengan panjang 6.73 Meter sebagai objek perencanaan ulang. Mengubah sistem menjadi berpenggerak elektris dengan motor DC Leroy Somer pada kecepatan 6 knot sesuai rules selama 24 jam. Sistem ini diakumulasikan dengan penerangan membutuhkan daya sebesar 69 kW per hari. Aplikasi penggunaan pada energy harvester, yaitu solar cell sebanyak 490 lembar dan turbin angin sebanyak delapan unit dapat menghasilkan total 10.1 kW per hari. Maka hasil analisa ini mendapat peningkatan endurance kapal sebesar 13.054%.

Lifeboats is a rescue vessel arranged in regulation that must be fulfilled on any ship above 300 Gross Tonnage (GT). The main function of lifeboat is to carry out evacuate crew or passenger from the ship accident and saving human lifes in order to survive in the sea. Germanischer Lloyd, Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia, and other stationary rules governing the lifeboat should have endurance or life-span for 24 hours. Which means, if a lifeboat is not found in 24 hours, then the victim will be floated on the sea. So, this research is re-planning power supply system with hope to fulfill the power needed by lifeboat using energy harvester. Using a lifeboat of 6.73 meters length as a re-planning object. Transform system into electric propulsion with Leroy Somer DC motor at speed of 6 knots according to regulation for 24 hours. This system is accumulated with illumination requiring power of 69 kW per day. Application of use on energy harvester, the solar cell as much as 490 sheets and wind turbine as many as eight units can produce a total of 10.1 kW per day. So the results of this analysis could increase the endurance of lifeboat up to 13.054%.
