Abstract
waktu pengamatan 36 jam perendaman beads didapatkan persen
removal biokomposit CA/PLLA 60/40 dengan variable 10% wt
sebesar 45,80 % dan variable 15% wt sebesar 43,68%
=================================================================
Cellulose Acetate (CA) is a natural derivative of cellulose
polymers which have many advantages such as having good
stablity to temperature and good biocompatibility, so that CA can
be applied into the biomedical and environmental issues. Poly (LLactid Acid) (PLLA) is a biodegradable polymer that has good
biocompatibility and biodegradability, but still has deficiencies
that can limit its use in biomedical, environmental, textile fields
etc. Considering the advantages of each component, the mixing
between CA and PLLA is expected to form biocomposites that
have superior properties and good performance on their
application. This study was conducted to study the effect of
changes in weight ratio and concentration of solution between CA
and PLLA on properties and characterization of biocomposite CA
/ PLLA beads, as well as the adsorption properties and
performance of CA / PLLA beads, and studied the effect of time
change of methylene blue solution on adsorption performance of
CA / PLLA beads. The research method used in this study,
starting with CA and PLLA was dissolved in an appropriate
solvent which was then mixed and stirred until it becameiv
homogeneous solution, the homogeneous solution of CA / PPLA
was injected into the coagulation bath to form beads which were
then dried. As for the test that must be done that are morphology
analysis which use SEM, thermal stability test which use TGA
test, DSC test that analyze about thermal properties beads and
adsorption test which use spectrophotometry UV-VIS. From the
research that has been done to obtain the CA / PLLA beads that
the more PLLA added will be the smaller diameter of beads, this
phenomenon occurs in both variable concentration of solution that
is 10% and 15%. And for the TGA test results obtained the more
PLLA added the lower the temperature required for degradation..
With observation time 36 hours soaking beads obtained %.
Biggest %removal obtained with 10%wt variable with value of
45,80% and 15% wt variable is 43,68%.
