Abstract

Sintesis LiFePO4 menggunakan metode sol-gel dengan variasi pH dan temperatur pengeringan telah selesai dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahan dasar batu besi Tanah Laut dan bahan komersial Li2CO3 dan NH4H2PO4. Sintesis LiFePO4 dilakukan dengan variasi pH yaitu 0, 4, 7, 11 dan temperatur kalsinasi dalam lingkungan argon yaitu 600 oC dan 700 oC. Karakterisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen X-Ray Fluorescene (XRF), Particle Size Analizer (PSA) dan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Analisis hasil uji XRF menunjukkan bahwa terdapat unsur Fe sebesar 89,8% pada batu alam. Analisis hasil uji PSA menunjukkan bahwa pH mempengaruhi ukuran partikel terbukti dengan pH 7 yang bersifat netral memiliki ukuran partikel terkecil di antara semua pH dalam pembentukan LiFePO4 pada temperatur kalsinasi 600 oC sebesar 235 nm. Proses sintesis sol-gel dengan bahan dasar batu besi Tanah Laut, Li2CO3, dan NH4H2PO4 dengan waktu kalsinasi di lingkungan gas inert selama 10 jam menghasilkan fasa LiFePO4 yang murni menggunakan pH 4, temperatur pengeringan 300 oC, dan temperatur kalsinasi 600 oC dalam metode Sol Gel yang memiliki fasa olivine LiFePO4 dengan struktur Kristal orthorhombik space grup pnma sesuai dengan database kode cif 96-210-0917 serta memiliki parameter kisi a = 10,1758 Å, b = 5.9182 Å, c = 4.6238 Å. ========================= Synthesis of LiFePO4 using a sol gel method with pH and drying variation has been successfully performed. This study used local iron rocks and commercial materials of Li2CO3 and NH4H2PO4. The processing pH variations were 0, 4, 7, 11 and the calcination temperature in an argon environment of 600 oC and 700 oC. Characterization was performed using X-Ray Fluorescene (XRF) instrument, Particle Size Analizer (PSA) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Analysis of XRF test results showed that there is Fe element of 89.84% in natural stone. The PSA test results showed that the pH affected the particle size was proved with a neutral pH 7 having the smallest particle size among all pHs in the LiFePO4 formation at a temperature of 600 oC calculation of 235 nm. The process of sol-gel synthesis with ground rocks of Tanah Laut, Li2CO3, and NH4H2PO4 with calcination time in an inert gas atmosphere for 10 hours resulted in a pure LiFePO4 phase using pH 4, a drying temperature of 300 oC, and a temperature of calcination of 600 oC in Sol gel Which has an olivine LiFePO4 phase with an orthorhombic crystal structure of pnma group space corresponding to the cif 96-210-0917 code database and has a lattice parameter a = 10,1758 Å, b = 5.9182 Å, c = 4.6238 Å.
