Abstract
Kapal merupakan salah satu alat transportasi yang mulai banyak digunakan di seluruh dunia. Salah satu sistem penting yang menunjang operasional kapal ialah sistem kelistrikan. Agar sistem kelistrikan berjalan dengan aman dan optimal dari gangguan, maka diperlukan koordinasi proteksi yang handal supaya menjaga kelangsungan kapal tersebut sehingga dapat terus beroperasi tanpa terkendala gangguan pada sistem kelistrikan, terutama gangguan hubungan singkat. Pada skripsi ini dirancang pengaturan koordinasi proteksi pada perencanaan kapal cement carrier sehingga didapat koordinasi proteksi yang mampu bekerja dengan baik disegala kondisi (berlayar, maneuvering, dan bongkar muat, serta tambat) saat kapal beroperasi.

The ship is one of the most widely used transportation vehicles around the world. One of the important systems that support ship operations is the electrical system. In order for the electrical system to run safely and optimally from breakdown. In order to maintain the continuity of the ship so it can continue to operate without having any problems on the electrical system, especially short-circuit fault. It must have a reliable system for coordination protection. In this thesis is designed coordination of protection on cement carrier ship planning so that got coordination of protection that can work well in all condition (sailing, maneuvering, and loading and unloading, and mooring) when ship operates.
