Abstract
Obat merupakan suatu bahan atau campuran bahan yang digunakan untuk menentukan diagnosis, mencegah, mengurangi, menghilangkan, menyembuhkan penyakit pada hewan atau manusia (Ansel, 1985). Ketoprofen merupakan salah satu jenis obat yang dikonsumsi secara oral. Ketoprofen termasuk dalam golongan Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) yang memiliki kelarutan rendah dalam air (Bounaceur dkk, 2006). Laju disolusi dapat ditingkatkan dengan pembentukan kompleks inklusi ketoprofen dalam β-cyclodextrin menggunakan karbon dioksida superkritis yang mengandung H2O terlarut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh kadar H2O terlarut dalam karbon dioksida superkirits terhadap presentase kompleks inklusi ketoprofen-β-Cyclodextrin yang terbentuk dan karakteristik kinerja obat. Dalam penelitian ini dioperasikan pada suhu (40°C) dan tekanan saturasi 90-240 bar serta suhu inklusi 50°C pada berbagai tekanan inklusi (80-120 bar). Saturasi dilakukan selama ± 2 jam. Hasil dari produk tersebut, akan dianalisa dengan metode Differential Scaning Calorimetry (DSC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Uji Disolusi (Drug Release), dan perhitungan Drug Loading dan Analisa GC (Gas Chromatography)

Drug is a mixture of substances that are used to determine the diagnosis, prevent, reduce, eliminate, cure disease in animals or humans (Ansel, 1985).
Ketoprofen is one type of drug that is taken orally. Ketoprofen is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) which has low solubility in water (Bounaceur dkk, 2006).
The dissolution rate can be increased by making inclusion complex of ketoprofen in β-cyclodextrin using supercritical CO2 containing dissolved H2O.
The purpose of this research is to know the ef
fect of dissolved H2O in supercritical CO2 to the percentage of inclusion complexes of ketoprofen-β-Cyclodextrin formed and the performance characteristics of drugs. This research
is operated at the temperatures (40°C),
the saturation pressure (90-240 bar) and the temperature of inclusion 50°C on the various inclusions pressure (80-120 bar). Saturation is prepared during ± 2 hours. Results Of the products, will be analyzed with Methods Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Dissolution Test (Drug Release), Drug Loading calculation and GC (Gas Chromatography).
