Abstract

Selain itu, pipa mengalami start up dan shut down selama masa hidupnya.

================================================================================

Nowadays, the offshore pipeline industry often faces complex challenges as the oil and gas industry moves deeper into the ocean to search for hydrocarbons. The examples are a pipeline that has high pressure and has a high temperature. In addition, the pipe started up and shut down during its lifetime. Both of these can cause the pipeline to move axially toward the cold end called pipeline walking and buckling laterally, the phenomenon may result in failure of the pipe connection. In this final project, the pipe analyzed has a length of 27.14 km. In this analysi,s walking calculation manually obtained value of 0.160 m every single cycle. Furthermore, pipe modeling and analysis are done to find out the maximum stress and the value of the displacement. After experiencing one cycle, the pipe will experience walking of 0.16 m and has a maximum stress of 127 N / mm2. But after the pipe has 14 cycles, the pipe will fail due to overstress. The maximum stress of pipe after cycle 14 is 407 N / mm2
