Abstract

Motor induksi tiga fasa adalah penggerak elektrik yang banyak digunakan di dunia industri karena konstruksinya yang kokoh, perawatan yamg mudah, dan lebih ekonomis dibandingkan motor jenis lain dengan kapasitas data yang sama. Keunggulan yang banyak itu juga diimbangi dengan kelemahan berupa sulitnya motor induksi dalam hal pengontrolan kecepatan dibandingkan dengan motor jenis DC. Motor induksi tiga fasa sulit dikontrol kecepatannya karena motor ini tidak linier dan parameter motornya dapat berubah-ubah yang disebabkan oleh suhu, saturasi magnetik, dan frekuensi. Penggunaan metode flux vector control dengan ontroler Self-Tuning Regulator Tipe PI dipilih untuk mendapatkan pengaturan kecepatan motor induksi yang baik. Metode flux vector control akan membuat motor induksi tiga fasa bisa dikontrol seperti motor dc penguatan terpisah. Sedangkan penggunaan Self-Tuning Regulator digunakan untuk mengatasi perubahan parameter motor induksi. Sistem yang sudah dibuat disimulasikan di MATLAB dan hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan kontroler Self-Tuning Regulator Tipe PI lebih baik dibandingkan menggunakan kontroler PI konvensional, dimana kecepatan motor mampu mengikuti referensi kecepatan yang diberikan meskipun diberi pembebanan dan perubahan resistansi stator. ================================================================= Three phase induction motor is an electric drives which is most use in industrial world due to it’s robustness, easy maintenance, and more economic than other type of motor in it's class. The advantages also balance with the weakness that induction motor is difficult to speed controlling compared to DC machine. Three phase induction motor has difficulties to speed controlling because this motor is non-Linear and it’s parameters frequently changing due to temperature, magnetic saturation, and frequency. Applying flux vector control method combined with PI type Self-Tuning Regulator was choosen to get a better speed controlling of induction motor. flux vector control method will make three phase induction motor can be controlled as separatedly excitation dc motor. While Self-Tuning Regulator use to eliminating effect of induction motor parameter changing. The system that has been made is simulated in MATLAB and those result shows that using PI type Self-Tuning Regulator controller better than using convensional PI controller where is the motor speed able to follow speed reference even given mechanical load and stator resistance changing.
