Abstract

Kestabilan transien merupakan kemampuan sistem tenaga listrik untuk mempertahankan sinkronisasi dan keseimbangan daya pembangkitan dengan daya pembebanan dalam sistem. Dalam keadaan ini, semua generator pada sistem kelistrikan di kapal berputar pada kecepatan sinkron. Gangguan-gangguan besar yang mungkin terjadi secara tiba-tiba seperti lepasnya pembangkit, starting motor daya besar, dan hubung singkat mampu mengakibatkan percepatan ataupun perlambatan putaran rotor sehingga hilangnya sinkronisasi dapat terjadi pada sistem kelistrikan. Integrasi pada sistem kelistrikan di kapal menggunakan sistem distribusi ring memiliki kelebihan yaitu penyaluran daya listrik yang dapat disuplai melalui dua generator atau lebih. Respon kestabilan sistem kelistrikan di kapal dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon sistem akibat adanya gangguan secara tiba-tiba sehingga rekomendasi kestabilan yang handal dapat ditentukan. ================================================================== Transient stability is an ability of electrical system to maintain the synchronization and balance of generating power with loading power in the system. In this case, every generators in ship electrical system will rotate in a certain speed. Major problems that may occur suddenly, such as the outage the generator, high power starting motor, and short circuit, are capable to slowdown or even accelerate the motor rotation that make loss of synchronization may occur in the electrical power system. Ring distribution is used as the integrated electrical power system in ships, as it has the benefit of allowing the system to supply electrical powers through two or more generators. The electrical power stability response in ship is done to determine the system response due to some sudden occurring problems so the reliable recommendations can be selected.
