Abstract
SPAR termasuk salah satu compliant floating structure yang biasanya digunakan untuk melakukan fasilitas pengeboran, produksi, pemrosesan, maupun penyimpanan pada perairan dalam. Saat beroperasi SPAR sering kali menerima beban lingkungan berupa beban angin, arus dan gelombang. Beban tersebut dapat mengakibatkan respon struktur SPAR yang akhirnya berdampak pada proses operasi dari SPAR. Untuk mengurangi respon struktur yang diakibatkan oleh beban lingkungan terutama gelombang digunakan sistem tambat (mooring system) pada struktur SPAR. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan eksperimen untuk respon gerakan struktur (heave, pitch dan surge) dengan variasi sudut mooring line (20o, 25o dan 30o) pada satu ketinggihan fairlead. Tinggi gelombang yang digunakan adalah 5 cm dengan arah gelombang µ 0o. Selain itu juga dilakukan perhitungan respon gerakan struktur (heave, pitch dan surge) secara analitis dan numeris. Sehingga akan didapat sudut sitem tambat manakah yang baik dalam menghasilkan respon struktur dan mooring tension.
Uji eksperimen memperlihatkan terjadinya resonansi 0,22 detik (periode model) pada gerakan heave dan pitch. Dalam kondisi tertambat terjadi resonansi pada periode 1.6 detik untuk gerakan pitch dan surge. Ketika dilakukan variasi dihasilkan maksimum RAO surge, pitch dan tension terjadi pada sudut mooring line 20o sebesar 7.49 m/m, 5.07 deg/m dan 808.32 ton/m.

SPAR is one of the compliant floating structures that is typically used for drilling, production, processing, and storage facilities in deep water. SPAR often receives environmental loads of wind, current and wave loads. Those loads can cause disruption of SPAR operation process. To reduce the structural response caused by environmental loads, mooring system is used in the SPAR structure. In this research, experiments have been performed for structural motion response (heave, pitch and surge) with variation of mooring line angle (20o, 25o and 30o) at one fairlead level. The wave height used is 5 cm with the direction of wave μ 0o. In addition, the calculations of movement response structure (heave, pitch and surge) have been calculated analytically and numerically. So it will be obtained where the mooring system is good in generating the structure response and mooring tension.
The experimental test shows a resonance at 0.22 second (model period) in heave and pitch motion. In the tied condition resonance occurs in the period of 1.6 seconds for pitch and surge motion. In variation maximum RAO surge, pitch and tension occurred at mooring line angle of 20O are 7.49 m/m, 5.07 deg/m and 808.32 ton/m.
