Abstract

Ketersediaan spare part pada industri migas sangat penting agar perusahaan terhindar dari loss of opportunity cost, yaitu kerugian yang disebabkan oleh berhentinya operasi mesin eksplorasi karena ketidaktersediaan spare part. Pengendalian persediaan spare part Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. (KEI) dilakukan dengan metode Min-Max. Namun seringkali pemesanan spare part dilakukan berkali-kali untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spare part dengan total pengeluaran biaya pembelian spare part KEI dalam setahun mencapai
Rp 202.434.788.656,-. Sehingga perlu adanya metode untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan serta jumlah pemesanan yang optimal agar dapat meminimasi total biaya pemesanan dan biaya simpan spare part. Lot sizing merupakan metode untuk menentukan waktu pemesanan dan jumlah material yang harus dipesan. Pada penelitian ini metode lot sizing telah mempertimbangkan multi item dengan konsolidasi pengiriman. Pemodelan multi item lot sizing ini menggunakan Integer Linear Programming dengan mempertimbangkan biaya penggabungan item dalam sekali pengiriman. Hal ini mengacu pada mahalnya biaya pengiriman, sehinga ada kesempatan untuk mendapatkan biaya yang lebih murah jika melakukan konsolidasi pengiriman. Output model memberikan penghematan
Rp 1.129.430.110,- atau sebesar 32%. Dengan penuruan jumlah spare part yang dipesan dalam setahun dari 4838 unit menjadi 2324 unit serta penurunan jumlah pesan sebesar 7 pemesanan.

The availability of spare part in oil and gas industry is very important, in order to avoid loss of opportunity cost. Opportunity cost loss caused by the termination of exploratory engine operation due to spare part stockout. Currently, Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd (KEI) using Min – Max method as their inventory control. Ocassionally, they ordering another batch of spare part in order to meet the needs of spare parts. The total expenditure cost of purchasing extra spare part for one year reaching Rp 202.434.788.656,-. Due to those extra budget, KEI need a new method to determine number of order and the frequency of an optimal order, so they can minimize total cost of ordering and inventory cost of spare parts. Lot sizing is a method to determine the ordering time and how much quantity of material to be ordered. In this study lot sizing method has considered multi items with shipment consolidation. This refers to the opportunity to get a cheaper cost if there is a merger of items in a single order. Multi item lot sizing modeling uses Integer Linear Programming by considering cost of merging items in a single shipment. Output model provides cost savings of Rp 1.129.430.110,- or 32% with reduction of spare part ordered in year from 4838 units to 3458 units and total of order 7 times of order less.
