Abstract

Korosi masih menjadi salah satu fenomena yang menjadi fokus masalah pada struktur anjungan lepas pantai terlebih pada pipa bawah laut. Lingkungan laut yang korosif dan kandungan kimia crude oil dengan tekanan dan temperaturnya yang tinggi menambah kerentanan terhadap korosi. Salah satu masalah korosi tersebut adalah stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Munculnya retak akibat korosi jenis SCC jika tidak dihindari maka akan berakibat buruk seperti kebocoran bahkan sampai failure. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada baja ASTM A36 yang melalui tahapan heat treatment hardening. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan material menggunakan variasi tegangan bending sebesar 60% dan 80% SMYS. Pengujian korosi dengan uji imersi pada variasi waktu yang dilakukan yaitu 7 hari, 10 hari dan 14 hari pada larutan dengan pH asam, netral, dan basa. Laju perambatan retak terbesar pada hari 14 yaitu material AT2.1 tanpa heat treatment, dengan tegangan bending 80% SMYS dan pH asam dan terkecil pada AT1.3 tanpa heat treatment, tegangan bending 60% SMYS dan pH basa dengan nilai laju perambatan retak berturut-turut adalah 1041,39 μm dan 407,04 μm. Larutan pH asam adalah yang paling reaktif disusul oleh pH basa dan pH netral dengan nilai rata-rata laju perambatan retaknya berturut-turut yaitu 2,73 μm/jam, 2,33 μm/jam, dan 2,17 μm/jam. ================================================================= Corrosion is one of phenomenon s which be main problem at offshore structure especially for subsea pipeline. Sea environment that is so corrosive and chemical contents of crude oil with its pressure and temperature inc rease susceptibility to corrosion phenomenons. One of them is stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Appear ance of crack due to this SCC corrosion if was not avoided it would give bad effect such as leakage even failure of subsea pipeline. This study experiment used carbon steel ASTM A36 went through hardening heat treatment. Analysis be done by comparing specimens to their value of bending strength which 60% SMYS and 80% SMYS. Immersion test is us ed as corrosion experiment with various times of immersion that ar e 7 days, 10 days, and 14 days in ac id, neutral and basic solutions . The highest crack propagation rate is specimen AT2.1 which non - heat treatment, 80% SMYS of bending strength and in acid solution while t he lowest is specimen AT1.3 which non - heat treatmen t, 60% SMYS of bending strength and in basic solution with their crack propagation rate values are 1041,39 μm and 407,04 μm. Acid solution is the most reactive with its average of crack propagation rate is 2,73 μm/hr then basic solution and neutral solution with their average of crack propagation rate are 2,33 μm/hr and 2,17 μm/hr.
