Abstract
PT. Petrokimia Gresik merupakan salah satu produsen pupuk terbesar di Indonesia. Pada Unit Produksi Phosporic Acid di Pabrik III PT. Petrokimia Gresik, mempunyai kapasitas produksi sebesar 172.450 ton/tahun dan digunakan untuk pembuatan pupuk TSP/SP-36 serta produk samping gypsum dan asam fluosilikat yang digunakan untuk bahan baku unit cemen retarder serta pupuk ZA II. Khusus untuk produksi asam fluosilikat (H2SiF6) ini memanfaatkan pompa asam fluosilikat (H2SiF6) sebagai media pendistribusiannya yang akan digunakan untuk bahan baku Alumunium Flourida.
Pada tugas akhir ini didapatkan perhitungan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi pompa asam fluosilikat (H2SiF6). Perhitungan head, kapasitas, daya pompa dan efisiensi dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow experts.
Pada analisis dan perhitungan ulang ini, didapatkan kapasitas untuk pompa asam fluosilikat (H2SiF6) dengan kapasitas maksimal 18,33 m3/jam dengan head effektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 14,33 m serta didapatkan daya pompa sebesar 1,612 kW. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan-perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa sentrifugal single stage merk Warman Pump dengan type 4-3 SCB EO R/L 4VOR V

PT. Petrokimia Gresik is one of the biggest fertilizer company in Indonesia. On the Phosporic Acid Production Unit Plant III, the capacity production have reached 172.450 tons per year and is used for making fertilizer TSP / SP-36 and byproduct gypsum that will be used to be materials of cemen retarder. On this plant also produced fertilizer ZA II and byproduct as fluosilicate acid (H2SiF6). Especially for making fluosilicate acid (H2SiF6) is used Fluosilicate Acid (H2SiF6) pump as transfer media and will be used as materials for making Flouride Alumina.
In this Final Project, we've got the results of instalation's recalculation and pump selection which are the most suitable for Fluosilicate Acid (H2SiF6) pump instalation. Head, capacity, power and efficiency calculation are manually calculated by the author and numerically calculated by Pipe Flow Experts software.
In this analysys and recalculation, we've got the capacity for Fluosilicate Acid (H2SiF6) pump with operation capacity 18,33 m3/hour, Heff 14,33 m and power 1,612 kW. With this results, we should choose an Warman Pump single stage centrifugal pump type 4-3 SCB EO R/L 4VOR V
