Abstract
Penambahan Al(OH)3 pada material Grafena Oksida Tereduksi (rGO) bertujuan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap sifat listrik dan sifat magnet yang dimiliki oleh Grafena Oksida Tereduksi dari tempurung kelapa. Penambahan dengan cara mencampurkan Al(OH)3 serbuk ke dalam rGO yang sebelumnya telah dicampur dengan HCL kemudian diaduk selama 20 jam. Setelah diaduk campuran RGO, HCL dan Al(OH)3 dikeringkan untuk didapatkan serbuknya. Serbuk campuran dikarakterisasi dengan XRD, SEM-EDX, FTIR, VSM dan diukur konduktivitas listriknya dengan metode Four Point Probe. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui terbentuknya fasa Al2O3 yang mana memiliki sifat isulator dan sifat non-magnetik. Dari pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa fasa Al2O3 menyebabkan perubahan sifat magnet RGO yaitu dari superparamagnetik menjadi dominan Diamagnetik dengan masih adanya sifat superparamagnetik. Sementara nilai konduktivitas listrik RGO menurun dengan ditambahkanya Al(OH)3. =====================================================================================================
The addition of Al(OH)3 in reduced graphene oxide (rGO) material aims to determine its effect on the electrical and magnetic properties of the samples prepared from coconut shell. The adding process was acheived by mixing Al(OH)3 powder with rGO previously mixed with HCl and then stirring for 20 hours. Afterwards, the mixture of RGO, HCl and Al(OH)3 were dried to obtain the powder, which was characterized by XRD, SEM-EDX, FTIR, VSM and 4-point probe method. The result shows that in the prepared samples, Al was obtained in the form Al2O3, which is known as diamagnetic and insulating compound. It was confirmed by the measurements, showing that there are significantly diamagnetic contribution in the superparamagnetic nature of rGO, with decreasing electrical conductivity.
