Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keragaman budaya. Keragaman budaya tersebut sudah dikenal hingga mancanegara. Keragaman yang ada di Indonesia terdiri atas bahasa, perilaku, cara berpakaian, makanan, kesenian, dan lain-lain. Kesenian adalah bagian dari kebudayaan, dimana merupakan sarana untuk mengekspresikan rasa jiwa manusia yang memiliki unsur keindahan dan keelokan, dimana proses penciptaannya dapat melengkapi sisi batin bagi manusia (emosional). Kesenian terdiri atas seni tari, seni musik, seni rupa, seni kontemporer, serta seni peran.
Objek arsitektural yang diusulkan yaitu Gedung Pertunjukan. Tugas akhir ini menjelaskan bagaimana menciptakan bangunan untuk mewadahi berbagai seni pertunjukan dan juga berfungsi sebagai ruang publik. Dengan proses pendekatan movement, modern, dan image pada metode metafora, sehingga keluaran objek arsitektural mengarah kepada bentukan baik secara visual maupun tidak.
Pada proyek perancangan ini, metode metafora yang penulis gunakan adalah combined metaphor, dimana pada bentuk, konsep dalam serta plaza dapat mengadaptasi dari unsur pertunjukan. Dengan menjadikan arsitektur sebagai bentuk dari bahasa maka akan dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi metafora untuk berkomunikasi langsung dengan arsitektur, salah satu contoh memetaforakan bentuk-bentuk arsitektur seperti konsep, analisa dan sebagainya

Indonesia has cultural heritage. This cultural heritage is already known to other countires. Culture that exists in Indonesia consists of language, behavior, way of dress, cuisine, art, et cetera. Art is part of the culture, which is way to express the sense of the human soul that has element of beauty, where the creation process can complement the inner side of human (emotional). This art consists of dance, music, modern art, and perfoming art.
The proposed architectural object is Opera Building. This final project explains how to create a building as a place to accommodate various performing arts and also as a public space. With the movement, modern, and image approach on the methaporical method, so that the output of the purposed object leads to the transformation either visually or not.
In this final project, the metaphor method that author used is a combined metaphor, in which form, the interior concept, and the plaza can adapt from the performance element. By making the architecture as a form of language it will be able to provide convenience for metaphor method to communicate directly with the architecture, for example forms metaphor of architecture such as concepts, analysis, and so on.
