Abstract
Transportasi udara selalu diidentikkan dengan karakteristik daerah dalam desain bandar udara itu sendiri. Terkadang dalam hal ini merupakan hasil dan adaptasi iklim, serta tradisi bangunan pada daerah tertentu. Sebagai gerbang awal sebelum memasuki Kota Bontang, bandar udara Badak LNG menjadi cerminan awal dari gambaran umum dari kemajuan, kebudayaan dan karakter perusahaan PT. Badak LNG maupun kota Bontang itu sendiri. Bandar udara seharusnya bisa memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dan bisa memberikan kesan ‘Bontang’ ketika pengunjung sampai di Bontang. Berdasarkan hal-hal tersebut diperlukannya sebuah konsep desain yang sesuai untuk menunjukan identitas dari bandar udara Badak NGL melalui interior.
Permasalahan pada desain bandar udara adalah bagaimana bandara udara memiliki lingkungan yang dapat memenuhi persyaratan keamanan, kesehatan, kenyamanan, dan dapat bertahan lama, juga memiliki faktor keindahan dan penataannya. Dengan penerapan eco-techno diharapkan permasalahan tersebut dapat teratasi. Konsep eco digunakan untuk menunjukan kesan natural dan juga untuk menekankan prinsip green enviroment pada perusahaan PT. Badak LNG. Sementara teknologi digunakan untuk menampilkan sebuah desain-desain yang inovatif dan fleksibel dan diharapkan mencerminkan identitas perusahaan maupun kota Bontang.

Air transport is always identified with regional characteristics in the design of the airport itself. Sometimes in this case is the result and adaptation of climate, and the tradition of building in certain area. As an early gateway before entering Bontang City, Badak LNG Airport became the early reflection of the general picture of the progress, culture and character of Badak LNG company and Bontang city itself. Airport should be able to provide the best service and can give the impression 'Bontang' when visitors arrive at Bontang. Based on these matters it is necessary to design an appropriate concept to show the identity of the Badak LNG Airport through the interior.
The problem with the airport design is how the airport has an environment that can meet safety, health, comfort, and long-lasting requirements, also has its own beauty and regulatory factors. With the application of eco-techno is expected that the problem can be resolved. The concept of eco is used to show the natural impression and also to emphasize the principle of green enviroment in the company of Badak LNG company. While the technology is used to showcase innovative and flexible designs and is expected to reflect the identity of the company and the city of Bontang.
