Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan pupuk di Indonesia, optimisasi biaya operasional dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan efisiensi proses yang tinggi sehingga didapatkan nilai produk yang ekonomis. Makalah ini membahas tentang perancangan supervisory predictive control pada sistem gas reforming unit ammonia di pabrik pupuk. Perancangan supervisory predictive control dilakukan dengan tanpa mengganti regulatory control. Strategi kontrol tersebut disebut dengan decentralized. Perancangan supervisory predictive control bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan feed gas dan feed water pada sistem Gas Reforming dan memperkecil error set point. Sistem ini memberikan trajectory reference yang harus dipenuhi oleh kontrol PID. Model prediksi didapatkan dari hasil linearisasi plant sehingga didapatkan matriks prediksi. Matriks tersebut selanjutnya digunakan untuk mendapatkan trajectory reference dengan quadratic programming. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan sistem supervisory predictive control dengan struktur decentralized menghasilkan karakteristik sistem yang lebih baik dari PI control dan memiliki efisiensi penghematan biaya operasional sebesar 0,24%. ==================================================================== The increasing demand for fertilizer in Indonesia, the optimization of operational costs is needed to obtain high efficiency of the process in order to obtain the economical products value. This final project discusses about design of supervisory predictive control in gas reforming ammonia unit. The design of supervisory predictive control is done by directly applying it without changing the regulatory control. Implementation of supervisory predictive control without changing local control is considered easier and cheaper for a large process system.This control strategy is called as decentralized. The design of supervisory predictive control aims to improve the efficiency of feed gas and feed water in gas reforming system and to minimize an error. This system provides trajectory reference that must be fulfilled by PID control. Prediction model obtained from plant linearization result so get a prediction matrix. Then, the matrix is used to obtain trajectory reference with quadratic programming. The simulation result shows that the supervisory predictive control system with decentralized structures is produces system characteristic better than PI control and has an efficiency of operational cost savings of 0,24%.
