Abstract
Industri perhotelan di Indonesia merupakan salah satu industri yang mengalami peningkatan cukup pesat selama beberapa tahun terakhir. Meskipun terdapat berbagai dampak positif dari peningkatan industri perhotelan, namun aktivitas industri perhotelan juga memberikan kerusakan bagi lingkungan salah satunya dari segi konsumsi energi. Hal ini karena hotel termasuk sebagai salah satu pengguna energi yang intens. Penelitian ini dilakukan di hotel Alila Manggis untuk mengetahui dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dari konsumsi energi yang dilakukan selama kegiatan operasionalnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Life Cycle Energy Analysis (LCEA), langkah pertama dilakukan penentuan tujuan dan batasan studi, kedua dilakukan pengukuran konsumsi energi pada setiap unit kegiatan operasional, kemudian dilakukan penilaian terhadap dampak lingkungan, langkah selanjutnya adalah analisis dari hasil penilaian untuk memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dampak lingkungan yang paling besar adalah respiratory inorganics, climate change, minerals, dan carcinogens. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat diberikan adalah penggunaan lampu hemat energi untuk penerangan, mengganti AC dengan AC berdaya rendah, dan perubahan kebijakan penjualan kamar dan laundry. Masing-masing rekomendasi perbaikan mampu mengurangi dampak lingkungan sebesar 10.09%, 6.29%, dan 9.65%.
======================================================================== The Hotel industry in Indonesia is one of the fastest growing industries for the last few years. Although there are many positive effects from hotel industry development, hotel activities can also cause environmental damage, one of them in terms of energy consumption. This is because hotel is one of the intense energy uses. This research was conducted in Alila Manggis hotel to determine the environmental impact of energy consumption during the operation. Method used in this research is Life Cycle Energy Analysis (LCEA), first step of this method is goal and scope definition, second is measurement of energy consumption in each unit of operational activity, then perform the enveronmental impact assessment, the next step is analyze the result of this assessment to provide improvement recommendations. The results of this research showed that the greatest environmental impacts are respiratory inorganics, climate change, minerals, and carcinogens. Improvement recommendations given are use of energy saving lamp for lighting, replace regular AC with low-power AC, changes in sales policy and laundry policy. Each improvement recommendations can decrease environmental impact by 10.09%, 6.29%, and 9.65%.
