Abstract

Gas karbon monoksida adalah gas yang dihasilkan oleh emisi gas buang kendaran bermotor yang menggunakan bahan bakar bensin, dan pembakaran minyak dari batubara, industri dan sampah dosmetik. Nilai ambang batas karbon monoksida (CO) sebesar 25 ppm. Apabila manusia menghirup gas CO, maka hemoglobin dan CO akan berikatan dan dapat menganggu kesehatan manusia. Sehingga dalam tugas akhir ini perlu adanya sebuah rancang bangun sistem monitoring gas karbonmonoksida (CO) berbasis STM32F4 Discovery untuk memonitoring konsentrasi gas karbonmonoksida (CO) khususnya di wilayah Surabaya. Sistem monitoring gas karbonmonoksida ini memiliki spesifikasi alat dengan range sebesar 6,93-32,23 ppm, span sebesar 25,3, resolusi sebesar 0,01, non-linieritas sebesar 2,96%, akurasi sebesar 84%, dan kesalahan (error) sebesar 16%. Nilai hasil pengukuran x = 32,23 ± 1,27 (ppm), confidence level (CL) 95%, dan faktor cakupan (k) sebesar ± 2,171. Sistem monitoring ini dilengkapi penyimpanan data logger menggunakan SD Card dan komunikasi antar mobile menggunakan SMS Gateway.

Carbon monoxide is a gas produced by motor vehicle exhaust emissions that use gasoline, and burning oil from coal, industrial and dosmetic waste. Carbon monoxide (CO) threshold value of 25 ppm. When humans inhale CO gas, then hemoglobin and CO will bind and can disrupt human health. So, in this final project, it is necessary to design a monitoring system of carbonmonoxide gas (CO) based on STM32F4 Discovery to monitor the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) gas especially in Surabaya area. This carbon monoxide gas monitoring system has a device specification ranging from 6.93 to 32.23 ppm, span of 25.3, a resolution of 0.01, non-linearity of 2.96%, accuracy of 84%, and error of 16%. The measured values x = 32.23 ± 1.27 (ppm), confidence level (CL) 95%, and coverage factor (k) of ± 2.171. This monitoring system is equipped with data storage logger using SD Card and communication between mobile using SMS Gateway.
