Abstract
Pada sistem pengendalian temperatur ini merupakan suatu rancangan sistem yang mampu mengendalikan temperatur pada mini plant biodiesel process khususnya pada tangki pencampuran minyak dan katalis yang terdiri dari methanol (CH3OH) dan katalis (H3PO4). Pengendalian temperatur pada proses degumming mini plant biodiesel menggunakan sistem pengendalian bermode on-off dan menggunakan RTD sebagai sensor temperatur, Atmega 8535 sebagai controller, LCD yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan data dan dua aktuator yaitu heater dan solenoid valve. Cara kerja dari plan pengendalian ini yaitu sensor RTD akan mendeteksi perubahan temperatur pada tangki pencampuran kemudian diolah oleh mikrokontroler Atmega sehingga perubahan temperatur dapat ditampilkan melalui LCD. Pada tangki ini temperatur ideal pencampuran minyak dan katalis adalah 60°C. Pada sistem pengendalian temperatur tangki pencampuran mempunyai nilai akurasi sebesar 96,90 %. Karakteristik respon sistem pengendalian dengan setling time sebesar 13 menit, error steady state (ess) sebesar 0,13 dan maximum overshoot sebesar 0,3%.

The temperature control system is a system that can control the temperature of biodiesel mini plant process, especially in the mixing tank of oil and catalys that consist of methanol (CH3OH) and catalyst (H3PO4). The temperature control system in the degumming process of biodiesel mini plant is using on-off control mode with RTD as temperature sensor, Atmega 8535 as a controller, LCD is used to display data and two actuators are heater and solenoid valve. The responsible of the control plant is the RTD sensor will detect the temperature changes on the mixing tank then processed by Atmega 8535 microcontroller, so that the temperature changes can be displayed through LCD. On this tank the ideal temperature of mixing oil and metoxide is 60°C. The calculation result of accuration system is 96,90 %. Characteristics of control system response with 13 minute time setling, steady state (ess) error of 0.13 and maximum overshoot of 0.3%.
