Abstract

PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk merupakan satu-satunya perusahaan yang memproduksi Etilen Glikol di Indonesia dengan kapasitas Produksi sebesar 120.000 MTPY, produk dari perusahaan dipakai oleh Negara sendiri dan juga di ekspor ke beberapa Negara Asia dan Eropa. Beroperasi sejak tahun 1989, salah satu unit Evaporator (T-531) di PT. Polychem Indonesia ini pernah mengalami kebocoran dan kerusakan dinding tabung evaporator. Hal tersebut diakibatkan tidak berfungsinya alarm dan pembiaran terhadap keadaan tabung yang sudah tidak layak pakai. Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dilakukan Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS) berbasis Layer of Protection Analsys (LOPA) untuk menentukan nilai SIL. Berdasarkan penelitian, didapatkan bahwa sebanyak 9 impact events pada T-531 bernilai SIL 1 dan 4 impact events pada T-531 bernilai SIL 0. Sehingga direkomendasikan untuk pemasangan Pressure Alarm (PAHH, PALL) pada FT-511 dan Flow Alarm (FAHH, FALL) pada FT-513. =============================================================================================== PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk is the only company producing Ethylene Glycol in Indonesia with a production capacity of 120,000 MTPY, the products of the company are used by the State itself and also exported to several Asian and European countries. Operating since 1989, one of Evaporator unit (T-531) in PT. Polychem Indonesia has experienced leakage and damage to evaporator tube walls. This is due to the non-functioning of the alarm and the omission of the state of the tube that is not feasible to use. In this Final Project will be done Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS) based on Layer of Protection Analsys (LOPA) to determine SIL value. Based on the research, it was found that 9 impact events on T-531 were SIL 1 and 4 impact events on T-531 worth SIL 0. So it was recommended to install Pressure Alarm (PAHH, PALL) on FT-511 and Flow Alarm (FAHH, FALL ) On the FT-513.
