Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi smartphone Android dewasa ini tidak hanya digunakan untuk kebutuhan pesan singkat dan komunikasi suara saja, namun kemampuan smartphone sudah dapat mengotomasikan segala sesuatu dengan aplikasi seperti yang dilakukan oleh komputer. Pada tugas akhir ini dibuat aplikasi kendali LED RGB melalui platform app inventor untuk mengatur warna LED RGB sesuai keinginan pengguna. Sistem kendali warna LED RGB menggunakan mikrokontroler arduino sebagai pusat kendali untuk membangkitkan keluaran Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Aplikasi android memberikan instruksi kepada mikrokontroler arduino melalui komunikasi via Bluetooth berupa pengiriman data dalam bentuk byte. Hasil perancangan aplikasi adalah sistem pengendalian warna berdasarkan pada data palet warna yang diperoleh dalam aplikasi. Disamping itu, pengguna dapat menggunakan fitur auto-fading untuk menghasilkan animasi perubahan warna secara otomatis. Dapat menggunakan fitur music synched untuk membuat cahaya LED RGB dinamis terhadap perubahan suara di area sekitar. Serta dapat menampilkan warna LED RGB sesuai dengan objek yang direkam oleh kamera berdasarkan sistem image processing. Hasil pengujian yang didapatkan proses pengiriman data byte dari android ke arduino melalui modul Bluetooth bekerja optimal dengan tingkat akurasi 95.21%, namun terbatas jarak maksimal 9 - 10 meter. ================================================================= The development of Android smartphone technology today is not only used for sending short messages and voice communications , but the abilities of the smartphone can already automate everything with the application as the computer done . This final project c reated RGB LED control application through app inventor platform to set the color of RGB LED as user's wish. The RGB LE D color control system used a n arduino microcontroller as a controller to generate Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). The android application gives instructions to the arduino through Bluetooth communication with sent data byte form. This application produces color and light intensity control system on 3 RGB LED. The color changed based on the color pallete data obtained on the application. In addition, users can use auto - fading feature to generate animated color changes automatically. C an use the music synched feature to create a dynamic RGB LED to the sound’s change in the around area. And can display the RGB LE D color in appropriate with the object which recorded by the camera based on image processing system. The results of the test is data byte transfer process from android to arduino through the Bluetoot h module works optimally with percentage of accuracy 95.21%, but limited the maximum distance of 9-10 meters.
