Abstract

Ketel uap merupakan suatu alat yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan uap air (steam), dimana alat ini berisi air yang dipanaskan hingga mendidih sampai menghasilkan uap. Pada ketel uap terdapat proses pemasakan atau pemanasan air didalam labu didih dimana terdapat temperatur yang harus dipantau. Pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan, perancangan sistem pengendalian on-off temperatur yang dibuat dengan menggunakan sensor termokopel type-k, mikrokontroler ATmega16 juga electric heater dan relay yang digunakan sebagai aktuator.Hasil pengukuran ditampilkan dengan menggunakan LCD 4x20 sebagai data akuisisi. Dari hasil percobaan didapatkan bahwa pengukuran dengan termokopel memiliki ketidakpastian sebesar ±0.557 dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan sistem pengendalian temperatur heater memiliki performansi yaitu Settling time sebesar 810 sekon, Maksimum Overshoot 1,7%, dan Error Steady State sebesar 0,6. ============================================================================================== Steam boiler is a device used to produce steam, where it contains water that is heated to boil until the steam results. In the boiler there is a cooking or heating process in the boiling flask where there is temperature to be monitored. In the research that has been done, the design of on-off temperature control system made by using type-k thermocouple sensor, ATmega16 microcontroller also electric heater and relay used as actuator. Measurement result by using LCD 4x20 as data acquisition. From the results of experiments obtained with thermocouples have a level of accuracy ± 0.557 with 95% . From the test results that have been done heating temperature control system that has the performance of Settling time of 810 (s), Maximum Overshoot 1.7%, and Error Steady State of 0.6.
