Abstract

Rekristalisasi adalah proses pengkristalan kembali suatu larutan. Pada proses rekristalisasi ini dibutuhkan elemen pemanas untuk memanaskan suatu larutan agar mencapai kondisi lewat jenuh. Dengan kondisi tersebut maka didapatkan suatu larutan menjadi kristal (untuk larutan garam dan gula). Pada tugas akhir ini, proses rekristalisasi menggunakan heater sebagai elemen pemanas untuk memanaskan larutan garam yang sudah tercampur dengan larutan PAC, Na2CO3 , NaOH. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan sensor thermocouple tipe K, dan Atmega8535. Hasil pengukuran suhu ditampilkan di LCD 4x20. Dari hasil percobaan didapatkan bahwa pengukuran dengan termokopel memiliki ketidakpastian sebesar ± 1,208253 dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Pengambilan data respon sistem pada set point 60⁰C didapatkan maximum overshoot sebesar 1⁰C dengan settling time 16 menit sedangkan pada saat set point 70⁰C didapatkan maximum overshoot sebesar 2⁰C dengan settling time 20 menit dan pada setpoint 75⁰C didapatkan maximum overshoot 2⁰C dan settling time sebesar 25 menit. Untuk performansi sistem memiliki settling time 55 menit, maximum overshoot 1⁰C dan error steady state rata-rata 0,16. ========================================================= ====== Recrystallization is the process of recrystallizing a solution. In this recrystallization process, it takes a heating element to heat a solution to achieve saturated conditions. Under these conditions we get a solution into crystals (for salt and sugar). In this final project, the recrystallization process uses heater as heating element to heat the salt solution mixed with PAC, Na2CO3, NaOH solution. In addition, this study used K type thermocouple sensors, and Atmega8535. The temperature measurement results are displayed on LCD 4x20. From the experiment result, it is found that the measurement with thermocouple has uncertainty equal to ± 1.208253 with 95% confidence level. The data retrieval system response at setpoint 60⁰C obtained maximum overshoot of 1⁰C with 45 minute settling time while at setpoint 70⁰C obtained maximum overshoot of 2⁰C with 57 minute settling time and at setpoint 75⁰C obtained maximum overshoot of 2⁰C and settling time equal to 65 minute. For system performance have settling time 55 minute, maximum overshoot 1⁰C and average error steady state 0,16.
