Abstract

Salah satu jenis system pembangkitan yang banyak digunakan adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU) yang bekerja dengan siklus rankine. PT.Petrokimia Gresik merupakan BUMN yang menggunakan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap ( unit Batubara ) yang dikelola secara mandiri oleh perusahaan untuk memasok energy listrik utama bagi pabrik II dan III serta memasok uap untuk operasional produksi pabrik II dan III. System pendistribusian laju aliran massa uap ke pabrik II dan III tentu sangat mempengaruhi performa siklus rankine system pembangkitan, sehingga diperlukan studi lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui komposisi yang tepat pada system pendistribusian laju aliran massa uap ke pabrik II dan III agar diperoleh komposisi yang menghasilkan unjuk kerja yang maksimal. Analisa unjuk kerja siklus rankine menggunakan pendekatan secara thermodinamika dengan menggunakan data heat balance dan data operasional unit batubara PT.Petrokimia Gresik. Analisa thermodinamika pada Unit Batubara PT.Petrokimia Gresik menunjukkan bahwa kondisi yang optimal untuk pendistribusian laju aliran massa uap ke pabrik II dan III adalah sepenuhnya melalui bypass ekstraksi turbin agar diperoleh performa siklus rankine yang maksimal. Berdasarkan pehitungan secara thermodinamika pada kondisi pendistribusian laju aliran massa uap melalui bypass ekstraksi turbin diperoleh Wnet sebesar 17,92 MW. =============================================================================================== One type of generating system that widely used is a steam power plant (PLTU) that works with the rankine cycle. PT.Petrokimia Gresik is a state-owned enterprise that uses a steam power plant (Batubara unit) which is managed independently by the company to supply primary electricity for plants II and III. The distribution system of steam mass flow rate to plants II and III would greatly affect the performance of rankin cycle of generating system, so that further study is needed to know the exact composition of the system of steam mass flow rate distribution to the plants in order to produce a composition that produces Maximum performance. The study of rankine cycle using thermodynamic analysis by using heat balance report and operational report of Batubara unit PT.Petrokimia Gresik. Present study concluded that the Batubara Unit of PT.Petrokimia Gresik showed the optimal condition for the distribution of steam mass flow rate to the Plants II and III is entirely through turbine extraction in order to obtain maximum rankine cycle performance. Based on thermodynamic calculation on the condition of steam mass flow distribution through the extraction of turbines obtained Wnet of 17.92 MW, η of 24.09 percent and HR of 4.15 on the same amount of coal tonnage of 477 tons for 24 hours.
