Abstract
Saat ini cadangan energi fosil sudah semakin menipis dan pencarian sudah sangat sulit dilakukan, bahkan diprediksi 2030 akan betul-betul menjadi nett importer energi. Peranan renewable energy di Indonesia memiliki potensi besar untuk itu. Salah satu sumber energi terbarukan yang sedang digencarkan penggunaannya adalah biogas. Gas metana menjadi unsur primer dan menjadi parameter utama dalam menentukan kualitas sebuah produk biogas. Sehingga biogas yang dihasilkan kurang maksimal bahkan masih mengandung gas H2S dan gas CO2 yang bersifat racun dan korosif sedangkan pada saat ini masih belum ada penelitian terkait dengan kontrol kadar gas H2S. maka dalam Tugas Akhir ini akan membuat rancang bangun sistem kontrol kadar gas H2S untuk meningkatkan efektivitas reduksi kadar H2S pada biogas dengan metode water scrubber system. Pada pengendalian kadar gas H2S digunakan sensor MQ-136 yang dibandingkan dengan gas detector sebagai alat standar. Adapun karakteristik statik yang diperoleh dari pembacaan sensor MQ-136 diantaranya resolusi sebesar 0.01, sensitivitas sebesar 0.02 V/ppm, akurasi sebesar 1,32% dan ketidakpastian diperluas sebesar 2.77. Apabila kadar gas H2S mencapai set point 3ppm maka solenoid Valve A akan membuka dan solenoid valve B akan menutup begitu juga sebaliknya

Currently fossil energy reserves are getting thinner and the search is very difficult to do, even predictable 2030 will actually become nett energy importer. The role of renewable energy in Indonesia has great potential for it. One source of renewable energy that is being used is biogas. Methane gas becomes the primary element and becomes the main parameter in determining the quality of a biogas product. So that the resulting biogas is less than the maximum even still contain H2S gas and CO2 gas that is toxic and corrosive while at the moment there is still no research related to the control of H2S gas content. Then in this Final Project will make the design of control system of H2S gas content to increase effectivity of H2S content reduction in biogas by water scrubber system method. In controlling the level of H2S gas used MQ-136 sensor compared with gas detector as standard tool. The static characteristics obtained from reading the MQ-136 sensor include the resolution of 0.01, the sensitivity of 0.02 V / ppm, the accuracy of 1.32% and the uncertainty expanded by 2.77. If the H2S gas level reaches 3ppm set point then the solveoid Valve A will open and solenoid valve B will close and otherwise
