Abstract
Famili Clusiaceae adalah sumber senyawa fenolat seperti santon, benzofenon, flavonoid, depsidon dan antron. Dua senyawa santon rubrasanton (1) dan α-mangostin (2) telah berhasil dipisahkan dari ekstrak metilena klorida kulit batang Garcinia tetrandra Pierre (wadung) yang diperoleh dari koleksi Taman Nasional Meru Betiri, Jember, Jawa Timur. Isolasi dilakukan dengan tahapan maserasi, fraksinasi dan pemurnian menggunakan kromatografi cair vakum, kromatografi kolom gravitasi dan kromatografi sistem radial atau kromatotron. Penentuan struktur senyawa tersebut berdasarkan hasil analisis spektroskopi IR, UV, 1H-NMR dan 13C-NMR.

The Clusiaceae family has been known as resource of fenolic compounds such as xanthon, benzophenone, flavonoid, depsidone and anthrone. Two xanthone compounds, rubraxanthone (1) and α-mangostin (2) were isolated from the dichloromethane extract of stem bark of Garcinia tertandra Pierre (wadung) collected from Taman Nasional Meru Betiri, Jember, East Java. The isolation method by maceration, fractionation and purification using vacum liquid chromatography, column chromatography and radial chomatography or chromatotron. The structure were established on the basis of stectrotroscopic analysis IR, UV, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR.
