Abstract
Pada Plant Boiler salah satu yang paling utama dan
penting adalah proses pada steam drum. Steam drum sendiri
adalah suatu alat pada boiler yang berfungsi untuk menampung air dalam pembuatan uap, dimana temperaturnya cukup tinggi dan berupa campuran air serta uap. Maka dari itu diperlukan suatu pengendalian level yang dapat menjaga kondisi yang diinginkan agar tetap stabil terhadap perubahan level yang terjadi pada steam
drum. Oleh karena itu diambil judul pada tugas akhir ini
mengenai pembuatan Rancang Bangun Sistem Pengendalian
Level Steam Drum Boiler. Set point dari pengendalian level steam drum ini sebesar 6,5 cm. Sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor level float. Untuk sistem pengendalian steam drum ini menggunakan Mikrokontroller Atmega 16. Sedangkan aktuator pada sistem kontrol tingkat steam drum adalah servo operating valve. Proses pengendalian level steam drum dimulai dari
keluaran sensor level float yang diproses oleh Atmega 16 yang kemudian mengatur nyala dan mati pompa air . Apabila level mencapai set point 6,5cm maka sensor level float memiliki output ± 5 vdc sedangkan bila di bawah set point memiliki output ± 0 vdc. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa level control pada steam drum boiler berjalan dengan baik.

In Plant Boiler one of the most important and
important is the process on the steam drum. Steam drum itself is a tool in the boiler that serves to hold water in the manufacture of steam, where the temperature is high enough and a mixture of water and steam. Therefore it is necessary to control a level that can maintain the desired conditions to remain stable against the level changes that occur in the steam drum. Therefore, the title is taken on this final task on the manufacture of Design of Steam Drum Boiler Level Control System. The set point of this steam drum level control is 6.5 cm.
The sensor used is the float level sensor. For this steam drum control system using Microcontroller Atmega 16. While the actuator on the steam drum level control system is the servo operating valve. The process of steam drum level control starts from the float level sensor output which is processed by Atmega 16 which then regulates the flame and die water pump. If the level reaches 6.5cm set point the float level sensor has an output of ± 5 vdc whereas if under set point has output ± 0 vdc. From
the data it can be concluded that the level of control on steam drum boiler running well.
