Abstract
Dalam perkembangan bidang industri, mesin merupakan komponen pokok dalam suatu perusahaan Untuk mendapatkan mesin yang baik maka diperlukan pengontrolan. Salah satu metode yang digunakan a-dalah penentuan waktu perbaikan antara lain corrective dan preventive maintenance dengan biaya menjadi pertimbangan dalam penentuan ter-sebut. PT. Semen Indonesia, Tbk Plant Tuban sebagai salah satu peru-sahaan semen terbaik di Indonesia mengalami permasalahan dalam me-menuhi target produksi serta biaya perawatan yang tinggi. Salah satu yang sering terjadi kerusakan dalam sistem adalah mesin finish mill. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu metode untuk dapat menyelesaikan persoalan tersebut, salah satunya adalah analisis reliabilitas. Kom-ponen penting dalam analisis reliabilitas antara lain laju kerusakan, Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) dan fungsi reliabilitas. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini akan digunakan analisis reliabilitas dalam melakukan optimasi preventive maintenance untuk meminimumkan biaya penge-luaran pemeliharaan. Berdasarkan perhitungan estimasi biaya dan waktu minimum, didapatkan kesimpulan waktu preventive mesin finish mill 5 dan finish mill 6. Estimasi waktu preventive yang disarankan un-tuk mesin finish mill 5 pada waktu 2250 jam dengan biaya paling mini-mum adalah Rp. 4.765.954,57 per jam perbaikan. Sedangkan mesin fini-sh mill 6, estimasi waktu preventive yang disarankan pada waktu 2500 jam dengan estimasi biaya paling minimum sebesar Rp. 4.074.874,83 per jam perbaikan.

In the development of industry, the machine is a basic component in a company that can be said either is a machine capable of producing maximum output with minimal input. To get the goal is required to con-trol the machines. One of the methods used in the determination of co-rrective action are corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance with the operational cost of improvement becomes the main conside-ration in determining it. One of the most frequent breakdowns in ma-chine systems is the mill mill machine. Therefore needed a method to be able to solve the problem, one of them is analysis of reliability. Im-portant components in reliability analysis include rate of damage, mean time to failure (MTTF) and reliability function. So in this research will be used reliability analysis in doing preventive maintenance optimiza-tion at PT. Semen Indonesia, Tbk Plant Tuban to minimize maintenance expenditure costs. Based on the calculation of minimum cost and time estimation, it can be concluded for the preventive time of the 5th and the 6th mill finishing machine. Estimated recommended preventive time for 5th mill mill machine at 2250 hours the machine works with the mini-mum estimated preventive cost is Rp. 4.765954,57 per hour. As for the 6th mill machines, the estimated preventive time suggested at 2500 hours with estimated preventive costs of Rp.4.074.874,83.
