Abstract

Penyakit diare saat ini masih merupakan salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas pada anak di seluruh dunia terutama di negara-negara berkembang. Berdasarkan data dari UNICEF 2015 jumlah kematian balita yang disebabkan diare di dunia mencapai 525.977 jiwa, angka ini menunjukkan hampir mencapai 10% dari total kematian balita di dunia. Surabaya sebagai salah satu kota besar di Indonesia ternyata tingkat kesakitan diare yang ditemukan masih tinggi. Berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya, penyakit diare yang ditangani di Kota Surabaya pada tahun 2015 sebanyak 65.447 kasus. Terdapat 4 faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi jumlah kasus diare pada balita, yaitu kepadatan penduduk, presentase rumah tangga berperilaku hidup besrsih sehat (PHBS), presentase penduduk dengan akses jamban sehat, presentase bayi dengan ASI eksklusif 0-6 bulan. Pemodelan jumlah kasus diare pada balita menggunakan regesi nonparametrik spline truncated karena hubungan antara presentase kasus diare balita di Kota Surabaya dengan faktor yang diduga mempengaruhinya tidak membentuk pola tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, keempat faktor yang digunakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap presentase kasus diare balita di Kota Surabaya. Model regresi nonparametrik spline truncated menghasilkan koefisien determinasi sebesar 91,04%.

Diarrhea still becoming one of the main reason of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in developing countries. According to UNICEF in 2015, the total mortality among toddlers which caused by diarrhea reaches number 525.977 lives. This number contributes to 10% of the total mortality among toddlers worldwide. Surabaya as one of the biggest city in Indonesia surprisingly still has a high morbidity of diarrhea disease. According to Health and Public Care Department in Surabaya, there are 65.477 cases of diarrhea in 2015. There are 4 factors that allegedly affect the high number of diarrhea cases in Surabaya, which are population density, percentage of household which already implementing clean and healthy life, percentage of population with good and healthy latrines system, and percentage of baby with exclusive infant nutrition in 0 until 6 months. In this final project, case modeling of diarrhea disease among toddler will be solved by using nonparametric regression spline truncated. This may caused by no certain pattern that can be formed among these variables used. Based on the analysis, all factors has significantly impacted to total percentage of diarrhea case among toddlers in Surabaya. The regression model results 91,04% of correlation.
