Abstract
Di dalam area plant pabrik Aspal terdapat proses pengelasan, pengeringan, dan pengisian drum aspal sebagai sumber keluarnya gas pencemar berupa H2S yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan pekerja khususnya pada pernapasan. Pada saat ketiga proses tersebut berlangsung, udara di dalam area plant akan bercampur dengan H2S dan berakumulasi di area plant, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan sirkulasi udara di area plant yaitu berupa penambahan pemasangan fan dan exhaust fan. Untuk mengevaluasi apakah fan dan exhaust fanyang terpasang telah menghasilkan sirkulasi udara yang sesuai kebutuhan maka perlu diketahui dengan menggunakan simulasi CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Dari hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa kondisi area plant dengan 14 fan, 7 exhaust fan dinding dan 46 yang telah terpasang, menunjukkan nilai kadar H2S sebesar 0.0252996 ppm. Dengan melakukan penambahan fan sebanyak 4 buah, 1 buah berlokasi di dinding sebelah kanan berdekatan dengan mesin pengering, 1 buah berlokasi di dinding tengah daerah pengisian aspal, dan 2 buah di dekat proses pengelasan, kemuadian exhaust fan sebanyak buah, 4 buah yang berlokasi di dinding belakang di area pengisian aspal dan 2 buah di dinding kiri area pembuatan tutup drum, didapatkan penurunan nilai kadar H2S sebesar 0.0014023 - 0.0027219 ppm.

In the Asphalt area plant there is a process of welding, draining, and filling of asphalt drums as a source of discharge of pollutant gas is H2S which can interfere with workers' health especially on breathing. At this time the process, the plant in the air will mix with the H2S and accumulate in the area plant, so it needs to be done air circulation improvement in the area plant of fan and exhaust fan. For fan and exhaust fan installed with air circulation as needed then need to know by using CFD simulation (Computational Fluid Dynamics). From the simulation results show the condition of the area plant with 14 fan, 7 exhaust fan wall and 46 that have been installed, showing the level of H2S is 0,0252996 ppm. By adding 4 pieces of fan, 1 piece on the right wall with the machine, 1 fruit in the middle of the asphalt charging, and 2 pieces near the welding process, defecating 4 pieces on the back wall in the asphalt filling area and 2 pieces on the left wall of the drum cover making area, obtained decrease in H2S level of 0.0014023 - 0.0027219 ppm.
