Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangatlah pesat, termasuk dalam bidang monitoring sebuah plant. Monitoring yang dahulunya hanya dapat dilakukan dengan mendatangi plant tersebut dan hal itu kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu pengembangan sistem monitoring jarak jauh untuk sebuah plant sangat diperlukan karena efisien dan tidak perlu mendatangi plant langsung dan dapat digunakan semua orang. Dalam penelitian ini dirancang sebuah system monitoring jarak jauh pada plant purifikasi biogas berbasis internet of things yang memanfaatkan komunikasi serial antara sebuah mikrokontroler dan sebuah SBC single board computer) dengan menggunakan komunikasi serial dan disimpan dalam sebuah database dan dapat diakses melalui sebuah smartphone android sehingga didapatkan selisih keterlambatan sebesar 8 detik antara tampilan di android dan di plant itu sendiri sehingga dapat memudahkan sang pemilik plant apabila pemilik tidak dapat melakukan monitoring secara langsung pada plant. =========================================================================================== The current technological development is very rapidly, including in the areas of monitoring of a plant. Monitoring that formerly could only be done with the plant and go to it less effective. Therefore the development of remote monitoring system for a plant is very necessary because it is efficient and does not need to come to the plant immediately and can use everyone. In this study designed a remote monitoring system on biogas purification plant-based internet of things that makes use of serial communications between a microcontroller and an SBC single board computer) by using serial communications and stored in a database and can be accessed through an android smartphone that can make it easier for the owner of the plant if the owner is not able to perform monitoring directly on the plant.
