Abstract

=================================================================================================== HIV/AIDS is one of the communicable diseases that attack the body’s immune system. According to Lawrence Green theory, human behavior leads to behavior on public health. This study aims to examine whether the behavior factor could determine behavior change through clinical manifestation in patients with HIV/AIDS. The data was analyzed by SEM-PLS because the research variable was defined as latent variable. Moreover, latent variable consists of several indicators. The categorization was employed by using SEM PLS-POS to patients with HIV/AIDS due to heterogeneous population of observed patients. The findings revealed the invalid score according to convergent validity measure. SEM PLS model showed patient perception on enabling factor, which is ARV therapy. It is assumed that the therapy present the highest influence as well as positive predictive value of the clinical manifestation such as quality of living and CD4 count improvement. The categorization yielded the three segments, in which total of patients in second segment was the most considerable in number and also in clinical manifestations in terms of predisposing factor perception.
