Abstract

PT. Petrokimia Gresik merupakan salah satu produsen pupuk terbesar di Indonesia. Pada Unit Produksi Phosporic Acid di Pabrik III PT. Petrokimia Gresik didesain untuk menghasilkan asam fosfat mencapai 172.450 ton per tahun dan digunakan untuk pembuatan pupuk TSP/SP-36 serta produk samping gypsum. Bahan baku yang digunakan pada pabrik ini adalah phosphate rock dan asam sulfat 98.5%.
Pada tugas akhir ini didapatkan perhitungan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk instalasi hemihydrate recycle pump P-2302B. Perhitungan head, NPSHa kapasitas, daya pompa dan pemilihan pompa dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow experts.
Pada perhitungan ulang ini, didapatkan kapasitas untuk instalasi hemihydrate recycle pump dengan kapasitas maksimal = 770 m3/jam dengan head effektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar = 15,431 m, NPSHa sebesar = 3,101 m serta didapatkan daya motor sebesar = 83,525 kW. Sehingga dari hasil perhitungan - perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa sentrifugal single stage merk Warman Pump dengan type 12-10 F1AM GM V/L 5VCM HL.

PT. Petrokimia Gresik is one of the biggest fertilizer
company in Indonesia. On the Phosporic Acid Production
Unit (factory III) was designed to generate phosphoric acid reached 172.450 tons per year and is used for making fertilizer TSP / SP-36 and byproduct gypsum. materials used at this plant are rock phosphate and sulfuric acid 98.5%.
In this Final Project, we've got the results of instalation's recalculation and pump selection which are the most suitable for hemihydrate recycle pump P-2302B instalation. Head, NPSHa, capacity, power and pump election calculation are manually calculated by the author and numerically calculated by Pipe Flow Experts software.
According to the recalculation, we've got the capacity for instalation's hemihydrate slurry pump with maximum capacity = 770 m3/hour, Heff = 15,431 m , NPSHa = 3,101 m and motor power = 83,525 kW. With this results, the best choice is single stage centrifugal pump of Warman Pump type 12-10 F1AM GM V/L 5VCM HL.
