Abstract
Pengaruh penambahan abu layang pada Solid Polymer Electrolyte (SPE) PEO (Poly Ethylene Oxide) dan garam LiClO4 (Lithium Perchlorate) telah diteliti. Kristalinitas PEO berkurang secara signifikan karena penggabungan PEO-LiClO4-abu layang, yang diuji menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Interaksi ion-polimer, khususnya interaksi antara kation LiClO4-abu layang dengan atom eter oksigen dari PEO, telah dibuktikan dengan FTIR. Penambahan abu layang 5% meningkatkan nilai konduktivitas ionik SPE yaitu 1,730 x 10-4 S/cm pada suhu 60 oC. Sedangkan nilai konduktivitas ionik PEO murni sebesar 7,859 x 10-6 S/cm dan 6,863 x 10-5 S/cm untuk PEO-LiClO4 pada suhu yang sama. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SPE PEO dengan penambahan LiClO4 dan abu layang merupakan salah satu material elektrolit untuk baterai ion lithium. ========================================================================================================
The effect of addition of Fly ash to Solid Polymer Electrolyte (SPE) PEO (polyethylene oxide) and LiClO4 (Lithium Perchlorate) salt has been investigated. PEO crystallinity was significantly reduced due to the incorporation of PEO-LiClO4-Fly ash, which was tested using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The ion-polymer interaction, in particular the interaction between the LiClO4-Fly ash cations with oxygen ethers atom of PEO, have been proven by FTIR. The addition of 5% fly ash increased the ionic conductivity value of SPE of 1,730 x 10-4 S/cm at 60 oC . While the pure PEO ionic conductivity value was 7.859 x 10-6 S/cm and 6,863 x 10-5 S/cm for PEO-LiClO4 at the same temperature. The results in this study indicate that SPE PEO with the addition of LiClO4 and fly ash. Is one of the electrolytic materials for lithium ion batteries.
