Abstract
Surge adalah salah satu bentuk kondisi operasi dimana terjadinya ketidakstabilan antara laju aliran dan beda tekanan yang dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan pada kompresor. Karenanya dirancang suatu pengendalian antisurge pada kompresor. Pengendali PI efektif digunakan pada sistem yang linear tetapi pada kenyataan dilapangan mampu menghadapi surge yang merupakan kejadian nonlinear. Dengan menerapkan pengendali nonlinear dapat meningkatkan kinerja dari sistem antisurge. Perancangan dilakukan dengan pengendali Fuzzy Gain Scheduling PI atau FGS-PI yang merupakan pengendali nonlinear berbasis logika fuzzy. Gain pengendali berubah terhadap perubahan proses yaitu dengan referensi sinyal error dan delta error sehingga dapat diperoleh performansi yang lebih baik dibandingkan pengendali PI yang dijadikan sebagai pembanding. Pemodelan proses kompresor dilakukan dengan metode Autoregressive with exogeneous input. Perancangan pengendali logika fuzzy menggunakan metode fuzzy mamdani dengan fungsi keanggotaan trimf dan tramf. Pada simulasi uji antisurge didapatkan. Waktu tempuh titik operasi dengan FGS-PI dari keadaan surge ke keadaan normal memiliki waktu lebih cepat sebesar 2.48 detik sedangkan pengendali PI memiliki waktu sebesar 3.79 detik

Surge is one of operating condition when an unstable process occured between flow and pressure difference in result of damaging the compressor itself. Because of this problem, it is necessary to design a compressor antisurge control. Conventional control like PI (Proportional and Integral) controller are effective for linear process but in reality from the practical field PI Controller capable for handling surge which a nonlinear process. By designing a nonlinear controller might improve antisurge control system performances. Fuzzy gain scheduling PI controller or FGS – PI is a nonlinear controller based on fuzzy logic. Gain of PI Controller are changed along the change in process with signal references of error and delta error. Application of these system will improve system performance from the response characteristics. Process modelling is done by Autoregressive with exogeneous input. Design of fuzzy logic controller with trimf membership function and tramp membership function. From the results of antisurge simulation, operating point of travel time with FGS-PI controller from surge to normal operating condition has a faster time with 2.48 seconds while PI controller has a time with 3.79 seconds
